Good review! Some minor things to note, the TC is in the "50/49cc" class, so in most countries you don't need a licence. The TC Max is the "125cc" version, it has a 5kw mid drive motor. The acceleration and top speed do start to decrease under 70% battery. The factory pads on these are really soft and wear down in about 1200km, with a fresh set of pads you can easily do stopees. EBC makes longer lasting, and racing pads for these.
Lol I'm about to make the move to Korea for the second time and wanted to buy an electric scooter but saw this so I looked up the reviews. Then I saw where you are and know exactly where you are and I'm definitely getting one of these now.
Thank you heaps for the review! I've been trying to look for motorbikes lately since it's cheaper than keeping a car long-term, and thought that electric might be even better. So I've been looking into the super soco tc and really appreciate your review of it. Your note as well, on something like, "definitely don't drive this on the motorway" was also helpful because I wasn't sure if I could feasibly ride this on the highway or not. Thanks again!
Nice video, i actually want one, but in Norway they are 4 grand, and has a top speed of 45 km/h. And i really think the cold is gonna hurt the battery range. but maybe the short summer we have here i can drive it. Have a wonderful day :D
I live in northern norway in Finnmark and i have a super soco tc and it works fine. I use it from end of april untill end of september. And you can de-restrict it. Mine goes 70km/h..
@@knut2k5k wait you can make the scooter version go 70km/h? that's awesome. 45-50 feels slow. good enough for city driving, but some empty roads you wanna go a bit faster.
Nice voice dude😅👍 I love this bike its so cheap but very beautifull in my country (Iran) And the cool thing is that u wont need to have a motor cycle driving license because its electric
LOL! Are you in South Korea?? The scenery in your video is no stranger. Hello I'm Kevin. I'm the CEO of a company that tunes up the Super Soco TC in Korea. I was impressed by your video. If you come to Korea next time, could you drive the TC that I modified? Maybe you can ride a TC longer and less overtaken than this video. I look forward to hearing from you.
thanks for posting. I just recently moved to Korea, recognized AnJeong-Ri street, we live close by. Definitely going to get an electric cycle spring of next year. Do you review other electric cycles?
Love the bike. Been thinking of getting one last couple years will do it this coming summer. Question, is there a difference between the 2021 SS TC and the previous TC? Any noticeable improvements I mean? And the other questions is, do you find it fast enough for you? As am really debating between this or paying more for the TC Max. Let me know appreciated thanks!!
I am not sure and the newer TC and the older one. I will say I think it’s great for city use. If you plan to go on more open roads I would lean towards the Max for a little more speed.
@@itsmeericb ahh ok my friend is 7ft3 he has one and he asked a bike shop they adjusted his shockobsorber hight for him. Made the bike fit him perfectly.
Hello! ItsMeEricB. I am doing my research about it because the brand is arriving to my country, and i would like to ask you some question; Have you try the motorcycle in a hill? How does it behave and how does the battery behave? Meanwhile, have you seen any inconvenience after spend some time with it. Who is the motorcycle aimed at? Do you really recommend it? I will appreciate your honest answers, Greetings.
@@SpnBer104 In the short time that I borrowed it I did not try it on any hills. I’d assume based on your weight and the battery it would depend. I think this is aimed towards riders that do a lot of city commuting and not very long distances.
I’m in the same area and interested in getting one so I can ditch the car on post. So this doesn’t need the class for this? Also I don’t need to switch gears or anything right? And where did you buy? I want one so bad!😂😂😂😂
As far as I am tracking you should not need any classes for this. A lot of Soldiers on the base nearby ride these all over. I would double check though to see if there are any specific requirements needed for it. No switching of gears, just twist the throttle and go. You can get one used off of someone on base but other than that I’m not 100%. Maybe they ordered them offline? Lol
I am interested in buying this one. But, I am very tall guy. So, if you don't mind asking, how tall are you, just to compare. You might fell the bike is small to you, but on outside, it looks ok for you. I don't wanna look like a clown on a mini cycle :D
@@rfc1795 I find it very small on me. My legs were bent a lot and I was crouching. Other than that, seat was comfortable and the bike was super responsive. I think it is twitchy more than I like, but that is what you get with low weight and electric motor combo.
If you're going 70km an hour you've already had the software speed mod done. By default these things are capped at 45km/hr. The motor is not the limiting factor though so if you're willing to spend the cash you can replace the controller and the battery cable to give it more oompf
Noticed your location and I’m here as well. It’s registered as a PTD correct? So no MSF course. Looking at getting one but they are so expensive. Let me know when you sell it 🤣
hello. does the bike in this video have a 1900 watt engine? i'm looking at some shops and most seem to sell it with a 1900, but then there are some that sell it with a 3000 watt engine too for some reason. is that a huge difference in acceleration or speed?
I think there is a 1900 watt version. I believe more wattage will provide more power but not sure about the overall top speed. May be based off of batteries. I would check around online and on the Soco website.
@@itsmeericb ah so it likely increases acceleration speed or torque only. so odd that some shops sell with a weaker engine. similar prices too. thanks. i will ask about this in the shop.
They are all 1900W. 3000W is the max output that this engine can manage. But you should change the controller and maybe modify the battery to achieve it :)
Horrible, money wasted... This is the opinion of those who have it and no longer know what to do to walk with pleasure. Lots of battery and controller related bugs. And attention.... All very expensive.
