00:57 Actually it isn't an automatic, it's electric so there's not transmission ;) I just got mine recently and think it's awesome, highly recommended for those considering!
I was seriously thinking about buying one of these bikes and I went on your website.I decided to put in for a quote to lexham insurance. My last bike about 6 years ago was a Honda 750 which cost about £60 to insure. My last moped was ego electric scooter which was £150 a year. The quote I received from lexham was £550 a year which is way over the top. Sadly until insurance companies stop milking the fact that electric bikes are cheap to run so they can bimp up the charge for insurance I have to stick with petrol
Mode 1, 2, 3 only affect your top speed, not acceleration, so you dont need to put it in mode 3 to get a better start off the line, the modes are like speed limiters
@@leonkristiansen5428 Ive had 2 Super Socos TC and TCMax, both have the same acceleration regardless of mode, just the top end changes dependent on mode
4:08 35mph! Naughty, that bit after St Phillips causeway before the Lawrence Hill roundabout is 30mph! (there's no hiding anything on the Interweb these days!). BTW saw these at fullychargedshow. They are much prettier bikes in reality than the pictures. Hadn't realised you can remove the battery for charging, that's a huge advantage for those without off-street parking.

@@GreenMopeds thanks, hadn't seen in in the docs. Had a cbs foot break on a bike while back and really liked it so when heard was here wanted to find out as am investigating electric and this one looks great
This thing is super slow and doesn't go more than 40km of range. Yet I am a 6'2'' and weight around 90kg. That might be the issue. Uphill it won't go over 30km/h, ever. Driving on crowded roads is highly uncomfortable because of low speed.
man you can't, you need to either reprogram the main controller or swap it for one from TC Max. There's also an option with a power wire swap. You'd need to ask your local dealer. They have it. Otherwise the 45km/h is super slow, I hate mine for that. Always blocking traffic.
How did you find performance going up hills? I have a long uphill run on my commute and I can't get past 25mph. It's a dual lane, 50mph zone and really no fun at all. I'm beginning to wonder if the re- mapping has been done correctly.
Lots of aspects affect performance. Temperature, total weight, gradient etc. Personally I think 3kw is the best entry level power to handle most conditions so the TC Max is the way forward. Having ridden it, I think it will be a winner & it's available to pre-order from www.Green-Mopeds.com
why did they make this machine so slow is beyond me,i do like them, they are popping up in Australia now but the speed is keeping me from buying,my commute to work has a 90kmh zone and im on it for around 8-10mins the rest is 60 70 80kmh
In my country anyway, it's a fast as it can legally be without needing a motorcycle license to ride it. It works for someone like me who lives in an area that is all within it's max speed. Get the TC Max, much faster.
In Europe it falls into the moped category that is restricted to 45 km/h. For petrol it's 50cc max and for electric it's 4KW max. You don't need any motorcycle license (A1, A2, A) to ride them, you need AM (moped), but you get that with your B (car) license as well. That's why they're really appealing for commutes.
did not like watching the pavement. But good review. next time try placing the GoPro(or whatever you are using to record) just a little bit higher. thumbs up!!!
In that case, consider an electric motorcycle with a belt drive. The forth coming TC Max is one example. Having ridden it I can confirm it does make noise. Forthcoming in the Spring. Info and pre-order information here. www.green-mopeds.com/super-soco-tc-max-3000w-174-p.asp

Actually left leaver is back and front brake , it's linked (only on TC models)
Is that true? I tried to cross check in the manual and it only mentions back with the left lever..

They made these for the Chinese market where we don't usually commute to work on a highway. We usually use them where bicycles are used.
