Perfect for around town, especially with the speed restrictions everywhere don’t need much more than 40 mph

Nice review but it is a bit stupid to switch 10x per minute from eco to normal to sport to normal to sport to normal to eco to sport ... the software should take care of that in 2020.
And, btw, regenerative breaking should be included otherwise you spend a lot of money on your breaking system.

    Does this have regenerative braking?

You missed a trick there, "time for a quick cup of tea" snap the battery out and while you are drinking your tea you put a little extra charge in, this would show just how easy it is the take the battery out and put it back in for charging.

No I don't know what you mean but I do of this bike and as a moped it could be one of the best mopeds on the market for several reasons 1, using the app you can make it go faster than a regular moped so if you happen to have a full bike license you wouldn't want to be stuck at 28 mph but you might want to own a small easy to park bike that you could put in your bedroom for safety.
2/ It is also a nice looking bike and 3/ it has the capability to fit two batteries thus potentially fiving you around 80 plus miles to a single charge.
The only down side to this bike is the size, but it is a moped so fits in nicely with other mopeds.

No I can't show you because I don't own this bike, but if you check out on youtube there are videos of people doing it, I have been watching this bike for a while now and many of them talk about it doing 40 plus mph.
Also somewhere in his video the person reviewing this bike speaks of it doing over 40 via the app.
So I would say the chances are it's just a matter of figuring out how to do it.
Have you got the service manual it's free online, here's the link for that.

Here's the link to their web site phone them and they will be able to help you I'm sure.
After all if they want to sell these machines they will need to help people who are willing to buy them.
Let us know how you get on with them.

Ok did a bit of checking for you and found that it's the tc that is able to go 45 mph not the ts.
However saying that there are usually ways around this kind of problem so long as the motor can handle it, just get someone to build you a batter that will over volt the batter enough to squeeze a little more out of the motor and controller but you have to be careful you don't burn it out.
But the ts is a moped while the tc is considered a small motorcycle, two different animals so to speak.

1500, does that refer to the motor size, the super soco's available now in Australia as they have just started importing them, are the 2400wh and 3000wh motor versions?

the 3000w is the peak power (dont ask me how it works!), its still a 1500 for the TC and a 1200 for the TS. I drove a TC a coupla weeks ago ( I'm over in Perth), quite impressed.
