    And this, all this, is exactly why we need a Tom Riddle/Voldemort movie (series), to see how he did it. Not only the horcruxes, but everything else too. The dark path he followed etc... I think that HP fans would love a more adult, and dark movie to see how Tom became who he is. I hope that, one day, we'll know.

    It honestly does make sense that he didn't work on his rudimentary body and eventual rebirth plan until thirteen years after his initial defeat: because he couldn't. Before Quirrel found him in the forests of Albania, he was stuck possessing the bodies of wildlife, mainly snakes, and while being a parasite on the professor opted to go after the Philsopher's stone first, which clearly failed and sent him back to possessing wildlife until he was found by Petigrew (no other followers came looking for him, until Barty Jr was able to get free, and his own Horcrux in the diary was attempting to escape from the book, creating its own body via absorbing Ginny's life energies). Being stuck as a parasite with no assistance, he was incapable of creating a rudimentary form, and when he did have Quirrel he was too focused on the Stone.

    If only the directors, writers, etc. of the movies understood that the movie is in no way on a time budget, you could make a Harry Potter movie so long it makes Dances With Wolves seem like a Pixar animated short and people would still pack the theater seats and stand in a marathon-long line to the cinema doors

      Look at the inheritance cycle series.
      Eragon movie sucked because the source material was so long they had to cut it down. but the books kicked ass. And they didnt get a sequel. Had they pulled a part 1 part 2 or extended it to lotr length film they wouldnt have had to rush and make a 528 Page book into a 1.5hr movie
      Early books didnt have to much in length with about 200-300 pages the same cannot be said with the later hp books around 700 800 pages with To much material for a movie cover.

    There is something important I need to point out: PHOENIX'S AREN'T THE ENNEMIES OF THE NAGAS. The creature HPF is refering to is called GARUDA. He is an eagle-like sun bird that serves as Vishnu's mount. He is usually represented as either a giant bird or a human with bird features. He also happens to be the king of birds which is a title he shares with the Feng Huang who is often called the chinese phoenix. This creator MISCONSTRUED him for another mythological figure that he misconstrued for a phoenix.

    Voldemort closely resembles a lich, though a lich is considered an undead. There is something called a demilich which is where a lich loses it's power and is basically in a weaken stasis usually taking the form of a skull. Now usually for a demilich to return being a full lich they must feed souls to their phylactery or in Voldemort's case a Horcrux. Perhaps in a similar fashion the child possession theory makes a lot of sense plus that is one of the main ways to become a lich anyways, infanticide that's why becoming a lich is one of the darkest forms of magic stealing new life to extend another is a perversion of nature, and even then once that deed is done you must then technically commit suicide immediately in order to capture and conceal the torn part of the soul, this is highly dangerous failure only ends in death. Should the mage be successful though the torn part of their soul with be forced into the phylactery and the mage will rise as a lich.

      Without mistakes and given a good storm, becoming an animagus is accomplished in a month.

    • @Azrael4Real
      @Azrael4Real 3 года назад

      @@moodyzah5368 not true. The mandrake leaf takes a month yes. Or from full moon to full moon. In that time you can already collect ghe other ingredients, dew and the cacoon of a dead head hawk moth. At the moment the second full moon comes you put everything together and put it away where no one can touch or see it.
      No you wait for a lighting storm and till then you say the incantation every dusk and dawn. When lighting strikes you go to the potion and if all done righg it will be red. Now say the incantaion one last time and drink the potion. Boom you are an animagus.
      So it takes four weaks for two full moons and the time for a lightning strike which can be anythime. So at shortest about 4 weaks if lucky and when unlucky it takes very long.
      And about mistakes. If that counts then every potion can take a year to make. So we exclude mistakes.

    Hindu here, Nagins( Semi divine King Cobra species) are considered as "ikshadhari". Meaning they can change into a human form upon their wish. They are initially serpents and not the other way around as shown with Nagini. They pray to lord Shiva, their king being the giant serpent "Takshak". They live in "pataal Lok" meaning underground and they carry a "naag mani" sort of a preservation stone that can extend or grant life to mortals.

    I actually think Goblet of Fire is one of the best out of the movies. Sure, it has its problems (quite a lot of it), but I love the entire feeling the movie gives. From the first second to the last, you can truly feel the "transition", that this is the time the series REALLY starts getting serious. There's a constant underlying sensation of "impending doom" throughout the whole thing, and it's such a HUGE contrast from the first three that I can't help but love it. Considering what they had to work with, and the fact that it's the first one of the books to be so much longer, I'm actually very impressed with how well they managed to pull it off.

    I wonder if horcruxes prevent aging. I mean, when you look at the way they're described, the 'death' of Voldemort via love protection, the rudimentary body potion being pretty much exclusively of use to disembodied - AKA horcruxed - wizards and all that, it seems to me like horcruxes only 'tether' your soul to the material plane, rather than give you actual physical immortality.
    So, assuming Tom didn't go spectator mode after trying to kill Harry, I'm thinking that his body would still age and eventually fail him - forcing him to use the rudimentary body and regeneration potions. Perhaps that body would wear off too after a while, forcing him to repeat the process? Maybe at some point he'd try creating/stealing a philosopher's stone to sustain his regenerated body with an elixir of life or start breeding unicorns for blood?
    Or is it that he is only vulnerable to death by Avada Kedavra because it yeets his soul from his body, with the physical death being pretty much an intended side effect, rather than the actual intended spell effect? If that's the case, and his soul got fragmented by the yeet, isn't he technically a lesser immortal, than a wizard with just one or two horcruxes, as it was stated, that his soul got way too unstable after the creation of the 4th horcrux and the instability caused the soul to get split again when the Killing Curse rebounded?
    Also, why didn't he just use that Secret Keeper charm to keep one horcrux safe, with himself as the only Keeper, since technically he cannot really die, as the secret is stored in the soul and the spell stops working - I presume - when the soul moves on? Unless it's about the soul leaving the mortal plane, in that case why not use the spell on one of the horcruxes rather than your main soul?
    Genuinely don't know how all these questions and speculations appeared in my head after thinking whether horcruxes prevent aging, but uh... You got to the end. Thank you for listening to my TomTalk.

      I believe they prevent aging, look at the diary. It was 16 year old Tom, not a 72 year old Voldy. But that's just what I think

    • @MrKoraboras
      @MrKoraboras 2 года назад

      @@tylorabdnor5562 Yeah but it was how the splinter of a soul looked, not his main body.
      And it's tough to tell if his main body aged, because he sorta 'mutated' due to side effects of serial soul-splitting, so we can't be sure either way - it could be all the changes were due to the splits and he had eternal youth, it could be that the changes practically masked and blended with the changes from aging.
      There's just not enough info out there on horcruxes. Just the name of the inventor and Voldi, who's an outlier rather than an example, due to the several horcruxes he made.

    I believe the fact they are doing this at the Little Hangleton Graveyard is more telling than you realize.
    I don't believe they used a child (and not because he wouldn't do it. I entirely believe he would), but rather a Frankenstein style body hodge-podged together from corpses.
    The rebirth ritual would still need to be done to regain his strength, but this makes more sense to me than finding a random(?) child and drawing attention to his actions

    Consider this.......It took time for Voldemort to find a body, yes an child's body that he could invade. It was like from a very poor family, living in a remote region.
    We saw that Voldemort had very few followers still loyal to him. Many of his past deatheaters lieutenants has gone on to have families and lucrative lives of their own, using the fear of the Darklord as leverage.
    Wormtail was different. He had nothing, having barely escaped the wrath of his former Marauder friends over the betrayal of James and Lily. Voldemort was his only santuary. Peter, along with Crouch,Jr., researched and studied dark arts texts and scrolls for any restoration rituals until they found the one they needed. It would take time to prepare the cauldron, find all the needed ingredients to brew the potion, then find a location to have the ritual of restoration. All of this took years of living in shadows to do. The public believing the Darklord to be dead also helped in their secrecy.

    I still think his body was exactly like that before he got destroyed by Harry. And yes he got that with time.
    Fun thing is he tried this in first movie (if he got the stone) but failed. In the second he would have came back like this too if Ginny died and Harry didnt destroy the horcrux. In third movie he was still planning to the 4th movie attemp, I guess time helped him that time

    it was mentioned either in goblet of fire or another book he survived after quirrel died by entering the bodies of various animals. it is possible while in one of these he drank the potion of unicorn blood and venom and it morphed into "baby voldy" or if there had been anything left of his body from godrics hollow it could have been added to the mix (after all someone did retrive his wand) which is why he looked the same (or near to it) as he did before.

    He first wanted the Philosophers Stone to return to full strength before the rudimentary body and potion. I think there's many different possibilities behind the body, but it's for sure not the most glamorous possibility for him and we know he liked glamour (think horcrux items ect). He didn't want to damage his ego so that was his last option. Perhaps also it took much more time and effort, whereas some of the other options like the Stone were quicker and easier. While he was a ghost he could possess things like animals so he wasn't just a ghost the whole time. I also think you're most likely correct about the baby, but perhaps it was an enchantment used to mould together flesh and bone to create the body? Wormtail could have done this for him.

  • @15Hotcake

    I’m surprised that the spell even accepted wormstail hand, given that he was only serving out of fear. And why couldn’t he pull the other pieces of his soul out of the horcruxes he already made.

    • @Rob17Cotton
      @Rob17Cotton 4 года назад

      Because it's impossible to remove the soul fragments from within the horcruxes. the only way to repair the soul if split is to feel remorse which would destroy the person in question as the soul repairs so it's a no go from tom riddle

    • @15Hotcake
      @15Hotcake 4 года назад

      Rob Cotton So when u say “repair” does that mean he can get new pieces of a soul. U can only have one soul. It would make more sense that his old soul would come back to him. No one truly knows if it’s impossible because it hasn’t been tried before.

    I read a fanfiction story of how Voldemort got his deformed rudimentary body. Wormtail was able to perform a cesarean on a pregnant woman that wasn't due to give birth yet whom he Imperiused and later was presumably killed by Wormtail, and Voldemort was able to possess the body of the aborted fetus, but the dark soul of Voldemort mutilated its appearance to look as if it were malnourished and deformed.
