Hi! Thank you for the video! It is very interesting. I have a question, maybe you can help me.
CPRI and eCPRI defines three different logical connections: U-Plane, M/C Plane, and Sync. However, when I look at O-RAN specifications for the fronthaul, I always see C/U-Plane together, M-Plane, and S-Plane (I guess this one maps directly to the CPRI Sync). My question is the following, Why in CPRI C/M-Planes are together, and in O-RAN C/U planes are together? Do they have something to do with the logical/physical connections? Moreover, the C-Plane and the M-Plane protocol stacks are different. How are they grouped together?
