Hosted by Conan O’Brien alongside sidekick Andy Richter and house band Max Weinberg and the Max Weinberg 7, Late Night with Conan O’Brien featured unforgettable segments like “If They Mated”, “In the Year 2000”, “Desk Drive”, and made a breakout star of Triumph the Insult Comic Dog.

Just wondering if anyone remembers. One of Conan's last network shows, max Wineberg and his drum set rolls out of the studio, then out of the parking lot and down the street. I've been looking for that video for years..
Awareness Del is my ABSOLUTE FAVOURITE Conan sketch of all time!! So absurd but so funny.
What set Conan apart from all other talk shows before or since were these absurd off the wall comedy ideas the writers were free to play around with, beautifully played out with conviction by some of the funniest improv comedy actors ever.
Seeing Jon Glaser romp around Central Park as Awareness Del again and Conan on JDP like he's Dick Clark on Bandstand absolutely made my day.
Now i want to learn about Delaware.

The one who was kind of bashful and shy about having new riding silks, lol. I bet conan loved that sketch, he loves old tymey TV and that is clearly a parody of all those weird dance party shows from the 60s.

It was a pretty common trope in early Conan sketch comedy, if they had difficulty figuring out the end button on a sketch, have one of the characters shoot another character.
