Because glissato and vibrato, on higher frequencies, typical effects of musical saw, used together can cause that effect on human emotions.
Glissato and vibrato are used also in Nada Yoga to move energy in certain ways in certain parts of the body.
A great example of vibrato and glissato in Maria Callas voice in “O mio babbino caro”...it will make you cry
Another example: If you play a minor scale on the main major, or use maj7 chords than you get a blend of joy and melanchonia mixed together.
Or alternating the two chords of dominant major and relative minor.
I’m not a professional musician but these tips are very easy to apply and get great results.
All these tips work better If you’re a great musician (and genius) like this incredible guy!

I love the Wintergatan channel, and look forward to it every week. I chose to sponsor this channel because I not only enjoy the content, but because I believe projects like MMX World tour are important to the world.
People seem to be a bit frustrated by the price point, but for me, I'd much prefer to support one channel for enough to matter, over having to keep track of a lot of small sponsorships.

It’s always good fun playing the saw (you can pluck it with your thumb without a bow) and people are so impressed, then they can’t play it when you give it back to them, the saw has to be bent in an S shape to get it to “sing”
