he used to make his own soft pastels. i actually got to buy some and that first purple he used was one that i got. i had forgotten how big they are. we moved and they're still in storage. i just ordered more handmade pastels from Croatia. i sure wish Paul still made the ones he used to. they are wonderful.

Does acrylic matte medium add tooth to the paper like clear gesso? Or does it add NO additional tooth like regular (white) gesso?
