Never heard this song until last Thursday when I arrived in San Diego at a bar that played music videos on the big screen. It was mostly main stream rock-alt stuff that people noticed and got in to; until this song came on. Everyone in the bar was staring at the screen memorized, confused, and entertained. I honestly think that's what the guy was going for.
He lead to all of this, people forget how much Myspace records pushed amazing indie stuff out into the spotlight and led new artists into the mainstream.
Found this guy by accident. Don’t remember how, but it has stuck with me for 5 years. Going back and listening every now and then. I just can’t describe why I like the song dirty and grungy filmed like an 80s porno and it is catchy, it flows crazy, very unique music and rap. I like it.
I discovered Mickey probably earlier than i should have in junior high with my cousin 😅 recently revisiting some of these gems and remember why I used to love this dude. His songs are all pretty catchy and I think that I've always admired his confidence.
