Without a doubt, the showcase of Geoff’s 6 octave range is Oogie Boogie Song. He does a full 5 1/2 octaves in that song. If you can handle Halloween music, that is. Lol. It’s from Nightmare Before Christmas.

The lowest Geoffs note in Oogie Boogie Song is an E1 and the highest is B4 so 3½ octaves not 5½...

@@aidanmccormack114 Sometimes they do when a strong bass is needed, but sometimes they use the other guys for it whrmen Geoff is on lead. Especially when they're singing live. But these three demonstrated their bass range in some videos

Their Moana Melody is my favorite of Voiceplay! If you like Rachel Potter, you should definitely check out an older song she did with Voiceplay "Phantom of the Opera". She's amazing that one! I say older because there's an old cast member who used to be a part of Voiceplay on there.

And what you said at the beginning, that their trying a more theatrical direction is so true, makes me happy that you actually realized and appreciate that, caise that's what they wanna achive! They also have a video of one of their more like stand-up comedy numbers, it's called "Road Trip" maybe check that out! Also all of their ACA Top 10 (disney and others) mash-up videos are absolutely crazy good and fun!

I thought I had seen this one, but I hadn’t. I’m glad I saw it with your reaction! Love Voice Play, and Rachel has a beautiful voice! Yes, they are more theatrical, but I love that! It gives them an identity separate from other A Cappella groups! They do all have different styles, though! This one was fun to watch! I never knew Eli could sing bass prior to this video! Wow! Moana was a really good movie, and I don’t care for all Disney movies anymore, but I have to admit I watched it because of Dwayne Johnson! Love the dude!! I love the island feel and the music was great! Anticipating your reaction to Voice Play’s “Just Sing”! It’s going to be epic!!

For more VoicePlay ft Rachel Potter, check out Phantom Of The Opera. You will see a guy called Tony, he left in about 2016 I think? It was quite a while before they decided on J None, the African American baritone. So that’s my suggestion!

Another great medley is The Little Mermaid which also stars Rachel Potter.
Being this is studio produced the bass could have been double tracked and the bass line could have been added after the fact.

This video was done during a period when they were auditioning for a new baritone, but Rachel has done several with the full group. They've recently lost their high tenor, Earl, but I haven't heard if they're auditioning yet.
