This is so dangerous for knees !! I don’t see the point of doing it . if it could be not just a career ending injury but also the person would be in a lot of pain (( even simple things like running would become a nightmare)) as much i would love to see rebecca doing it i hope she doesn’t given her age and her previous injuries
Same. Rebe would be the one to truly pull it off but I would never want to risk another ACL or more/worse. Her coaches were insane for having her try onto a hard mat in a meet. Absolutely insane.
There was zero reason to risk her health and body like that. Her block is not even close to what's needed to pull it off. And that's no hate on her, totally all her coaches, I haven't a clue what they were thinking. Poor love's knees and body are probably aching just at the thought of it.

Thank goodness she had a good bend in her knees to help them. If she hadn't she could have really injured herself.

She kinda looks like she could have gotten the last half twist but bailed last second.
When a skill is hard and you don’t have good form, you shouldn’t be competing it!

Any skill you can’t do beautifully is not worth doing at all. The FIG has got to stop rewarding difficulty over form. Good gracious.
