Pundari Prasad Aryal aka a person with transplanted Liver.
I am ecstatic to have him in my podcast. We talked about the struggle he and his family had to go through when liver transplantation was the only option for his livelihood in the New York city. Before his liver transplant, he was in coma for seven days. Description of those seven days when he transcended to the other world and talked with his deceased mother, brother and sister-in-law could easily give one goosebumps.
He has so far published three books -- ‘Kalejo Fereko Manchhe’ (A man with transplanted liver), ‘Adhyatma ko bato ma’ (In the path to spirituality) and ‘Antim Prahar’ (The final hours) - all written while fighting with his health issues. After liver transplantation, he had gone through another major life-threatening disease, which he defeated, and now he is in course to begin a new job. Although life stores a lot of ups and downs for all of us, but what Mr. Aryal has gone through could be beyond one’s imagination. Yet he has shown positivity and courage to overcome all his misfortune. There are a lot of things one could learn from his life story.
पुण्डरि प्रसाद अर्याल अर्थात कलेजो फेरेको मान्छे, उहा संग मेरो पड्कस्टमा कुरा गर्न पाउदा धेरै खुशी लाग्यो। हाम्रो बार्तालाबमा उहाको कलेजो फेर्ने बेला न्यू योर्क जस्तो ठुलो शहरमा आफ्नो तथा परिवार को संघर्षको कथा एकदम साहसिक छ । कलेजो फेर्नु अगाडी कोमामा ७ दिन को अवस्थामा उहा अर्कै संसारमा पुगेर आफ्नो स्वर्गीय आमा, दाइ भाउजु संगको बार्तालापको कुराले शरीर सिरिङ्ग बनाइ दिन्छ।
यही क्रममा ३ वटा पुस्तकहरु पनि पब्लिश गरि सक्नु भएको रहेछ । कलेजो फेरेको मान्छे, अध्यात्मको बाटोमा र अन्तिम प्रहर यी पुस्तकहरु अर्यालजी को रोग संग लड्दा लड्दै लेखिएका पुस्तक हरु हुन् । उहा अहिले ६१ बर्षको हुन्नु भएको छ । कलेजो फेरिसके पछि फेरी अर्को ठुलो रोग लागेर त्यो रोग संग पनि डटेर लडेर अहिले नया जागिर शुरु गर्न लागेको रहेछ । यस्ता धेरै संघर्षका कुरा हरुले हामी सबैले धेरै कुराहरु सिक्न सकिन्छ। जिन्दगीमा हामी सबैको धेरै आफ्नै कथा ब्यथा हरु छन् र अर्यालजी को साहसिक र सकारात्मक सोच बाट हामीले पनि धेरै सिकेर जिन्दगीलाइ सकारात्मक बनाउन सकिन्छ।
