Is the checklist up to date, I have a few things thats not on the list? i.e Pumpkin head for medium head etc
@@lewisfuller3293 Pumpkin Head isnt required thats why. The lists are up to date, DLC stuff isnt on them because not required ;)

I have the platinum trophy !!!!!!! Omg thanks optinoob. Now I can finally move on and delete this good game but pain in the ass trophy’s.

Just started the farming but I’m getting armour pieces from enemies that I’m not killing or that’s even in the general area. Getting fungal bowman, ruined, enchantress pieces. In the wind mill area, is that normal?
Sounds like you turned on random loot in the modifieds at the start of the playthrough

To get the armor & weapon trophy do I have to get all the remembrance sets as well?
And does getting those specific pieces from another player count?

@@Optinooby umm so if I go online and my friend drops the armor i’m missing and I basically pick it would that count for the trophy?
I won’t need the remembrance weapons too for the trophy right? I’m marking down all the things I have using your link in description and most of the stuff I’m missing is from remembrance.
@@EvilXo5 Oh sorry Remembrance stuff, yea we need all that, I do get them all in #28 I think. Don't worry, Remembrance purchasing is coming up soon ;)
I was confusing them with Shrine items which you dont need.

Few more tips to imcrease item discovery.
1. Fully upgrade the Envenomed shield, socket 3 Nhelaq runes into it, and equip in your off hand.
2. Equip the Umbral Eye of Ethryg and always go into umbral while farming.
I mention this in the text guide and a little here. I think the 5.59 is enough as if you go too high then you are losing some of your damage and survivability and so not necessarily speeding up the process.
The 3 Nhelaq Runes are not really that helpful because if you have already killed the mimics or have no means to get from somebody else, then you cant use them
@@Optinooby fair points. I think I was 30+ levels ahead of you though because during both playthroughs I fought most enemies you run past so dying in umbral while farming was never a fear, I was just shredding through everything. I used buffs against the skinstealer and that cursed bastard in the tower of penance and that's it.
If you can survive yea the more the better, I was always worried though and when I tested with the full item discovery, it just seemed better without it, maybe because im kinda low level like u say
@@Optinooby three benefits of going into umbral as well: 1. That invincibility window when you first go into it. Can always use that to your advantage for certain farms. 2. You knock enemies over so can get a jump in them on the ground while invincible 3. I noticed that with most enemies you can't get hit while going into umbral. So if you run up next to an enemy and go into umbral, their attacks won't interrupt you. So you knock them back and see invincible, giving you a nice window to deal damage. We all hate farming (looking at you Sekiro and Dark Souls III as well) so whatever little edge you can get you should take. Your routes are great though, you found some spots I didn't even consider. Congrats on the finished guide, without question the best out there for LotF. Looking forward to your next. I'm not sure if it's your type of game but Animal Well could really use the Opti touch on a walkthrough. Popular free PS+ game to boot.
To add to this, the umbral eye you get from the red reaper when socketed in the primary slot increases item discovery as well.

Hey Opti I been following the guide but I don't have Tortured Prisoner armor I did the side quest when you did it in the guide do you have any idea

@@Optinooby no I did it in the part you uploaded couple weeks ago do I have to replay that part again ?
thats the problem, i took it down because i missed the tortured set. Do you still have your backup before part 26 so you can do it again? Otherwise means getting it along with the DLC or another run....?
sorry mate, its because i forgot to grab it in NG and it was literally 5 feet away

did you check my weapon lists in the google doc folder?
@@Optinooby yeah I checked it I started the farm at the windmill. Got most of them in there but honestly it takes too much time. If somebody is available to do the online thing I'd rather do it
This farming sucks :( But so close now to the plat just gotta stick to it

@@Optinooby Yes and no just been using notepad to keep check of what each mob drop. I find the docs a bit confusing because they are in no order for each monster drop. Maybe it just me but i think it would be a bit less confusing to use if you had put each monster name in there and what they drop
@@Elwildos I have done exactly that, you need to look at the NG+0 doc and scroll down to whichever part your on, here being part 27. All listed there exactly how you say

I totally agree with you about the convenience, why we have 2 lists ;).
So the list during the walkthrough is to make the farming more optimal, and the separate equipment lists are for you to better sort at the start or the end of the farming. If trophies dont pop, they will make it easy to figure what you're missing
Anyone had troubles with the ironclad trophies ? Cause I checked twice if I got all the items and yes I have but the trophy won't pop 🥲
You could check with another list online just in case, though im sure i havent missed any.....
@Optinooby nooo you were perfect during all this walkthrough ! I finally got it with the help of someone, we give each other all the items we had and it popped for us but for me ONLY when I got back in my world, I don't know if it's a bug or not but thanks for your list and must of all a great thanks for your guide it was really pleasant to watch and follow !
Some may have not registered properly, think dropping and picking up in your own world may have worked as well. But glad you did it!!
I'll keep this in mind as dropping/collecting again needs doing in Dark Souls sometimes to avoid bugs, maybe same here
