I like it but if Hyundai can endow the Ioniq 5 with a 350kW charging capacity, why can't Lexus do the same with their EV offerings. I think 50kW is not good enough these days. You mentioned the UX300e can charge up to 80% in 52 mins. Hyundai claims the Ioniq 5 can charge up to 80% in a little under 18 mins (using the 350kW fast charge network). Is that why the Ioniq 5 cost nearly as much as the UX300e?
The rear luggage cover is not solid so that it can be easily folded by twisting the metal frame and then stored in the supplied bag. Then you can put it in boot sub floor and forget about it. There is good privacy glass so it’s not really needed.
Another EV built with Quality but I’m still leaning towards the KIA ev tested last week Ie sharper looks quicker charging But ultimately prefer a RAV4 Hybrid
Interesting no Tesla in your mix. We sure this test is still all inclusive if the most popular car across a few $$ segment is not here? (I drive a Skoda, and I’m not a Musketeer, but just an observation)
I do like the Skoda Enyaq! I think the person who wants this Lexus EV lives in an urban environment, the want a Lexus and compact dimensions. It's not a family car and the Tesla although has range on its side, they don't offer a compact SUV EV nor have the cache of Lexus. I have seen quite a few Tesla model 3 boot lids filling up with rain water here in Scotland.
Top3 comment! Podium. Around 80k for Lexus's first EV. Wow that pricing completely caught me off guard....................... Wow looks like........any other (ICE) SUV on the road, well done Lexus for being a bit daring with this first EV model.
great video, I quite like the quietness the UX300e has over the UX250h.

Yeah but slower charging process preserve battery life.

rav4 hybrid is a good car I think, the reliability etc. Lexus does offer a 10 year warranty on the UX300e vs the 7 years of Kia
Nice move by oyota
Acura and infiniti should gear up and will
@@tesla_models Infiniti is pretty much a defunct brand these days
@@RevLexus yes but acura isn't. Renault damaged both Mitsubishi and Nissan from making good cars .
