    Looks a lot like grits, Derek. Except in Georgia it is against the law to ever put sugar in grits. Of course, we also declare a state of emergency if we get a half inch of snow. Another great, real-world video. Keep them coming.

    It might be a fun project to print up a photo of the hunting grounds from google earth,preferably one imaged in winter,and use it as a map to mark down the animal trails. It might reveal some patterns that might otherwise go unnoticed.

    Hey Sarge I know your busy, but hope to see your old Nesmuk stuff again someday, I like that old school approach. What do you think of the Eschool Dave C has for those of us who can not make it to a class? I scoped an area about two-three klicks from my house, I think I could set a camp there all winter to spring.. (spring the cows come back on that land) kind of a hike but thats the point I guess, I read somewhere you need to find a bushcraft personal space to practice,
    It has woods, a small lake, and dead wood, the lake cows use 3 months a year so I am kind of leary of drinking it (may boil and test). It has a thin layer of ice right now. We do get wild canines, and cats (bobcat I think) (no boars I have seen), in this area. The dogs or coyotes, so many they have woke me in my house at night sounded like a whole pack of them, Maybe I need to film my prospective site? Was out today on scout man it was nice to get in woods again. NO BUGS lol

    • @sargefaria
      @sargefaria  11 лет назад +1

      Why it my favorite time of year man....NO BUGS lol. And actually enjoying a fire.
      I have something in the works for an at home training thing. Its basically done....just gotta fine tune it and get it filmed!

      @Vx777infonet 11 лет назад

      sargefaria Let me know Sarge, you should just have some with you on a basic class a camera man, film the whole thing, edit in segments, burn to DVD (do not put on youtube). Write a workbook. Include some bonus stuff. Bingo! man I would must likely buy it. (oh yea make sure you copyright it so a student does not post on you tube) hard to stop that but got to use the honor system IMHO I would price 40-50, make estudents post vids to prove work

    Derek, did you say in a past video that you use Muslin Cotton for your food stuff bags? I was just wondering if it's thread count is high enough, or if you doubled it up before you sewed a bag out of it. I've been thinking on doing this for when I go camping (less space) and was wondering what the best material would be for dry goods, big or small grained items. Thanks and keep em coming!

    Did you just mix brown sugar with grits Sarge? Sir, though I respect you... that is a hanging offence in the South. Next time try cracking an egg in them with a little butter, salt and pepper... Mix it all up in the cup and cook them at the same time. It takes a little practice to get the thickness right, but they will let you past the Mason-Dixon line! Nice video Sir, keep them coming.
