Thanks for reading the description, Peace out. d-_-b
I realized you have solved the problem but for others like me who are experiencing a similar problem I thought I would share some DJI technical support information that worked for me (when you can not connect to your aircraft):
1. Power on the remote controller and aircraft.
2. Turn the gimbal dial to the bottom, and toggle the S2 switch back and forth for 3 times or more to start linking. The RC sounds DDDD, indicating the RC is ready to link.
3. Use a pen to press the RC link button. Hold for 1 second and then release.
The RC linking indicator light will blink red after patiently waiting for one moment.
(I should note in some models it is a tiny hole in the aircraft by the label. In my case it is a blinking light under the wing on the left side if the battery is in back).
4. The RC linking indicator light will turn to solid green if the RC is linked to the aircraft successfully.
My drone had to be sent back for another reason and when it came back it then had to be recalibrated and reconnected to the aircraft. It worked - hope that was helpful.
+David Fetterman can you give a little more detail about the S" switch and gimbal dial?
+ChapinFilms Guatemala Sure - look at the top left corner of the controller and you will see a dial on the side that is the gimbal. Just turn it as far left as possible. The S2 switch is the one at the very top right hand corner. It is the small one. Let me know if you need more information. I could also email a picture if you like - take care.
The problem isn't the RC connecting to the Phantom. We can fly them manually, if we like. The problem is connecting the phone or tablet to the RC so we can use the app, during flight and during updates.
I believe you are speaking of the P2... not the P3P... the P3P does not have the S1 and S2 switches
JC, in this case, the only thing that the RC will control is the camera gimble...
this issue causes a complete lock out.
I had the same issue with Samsung Galaxy note 5, it was the result of the phone's USB setting to have that be used as "Charging Only" instead of allowing it to connect to a USB device like Phantom Remote. Apparently the new Android OS 6.0 (Marhmillow) causes your phone usb input to operate as a Charging Only by default. This is what you have to do.
1. Once you have USB plugged into Remote, plug into phone
2.drag the notifications bar down, you'll see one notification that says "Connected for Charging touch for other USB Options. Touch that.
3. then you see 5 options. The one at the bottom is "Charging" which is automatically selected. The one above it is "Connecting midi devices" so you want to select that.
And that will allow the DJ Go App to connect with the phone.
I am having the same issue with ipad. Any suggestions??? How do I connect midi to ipad???
midi? what midi?.....to your question....i´m sorry i dont have any good solution sorry...for me it worked out fine when i bought an ipad mini 2
I just updated the iOS on the ipad and it worked. Thanks.
Good that it worked....i am actually really surprised that so many people have this problem...DJI should really get their hands on that :/
Thank you very much, that was the problem.
today 8/19/2019 i have the same problem no connection from control and drone ,phantom 3 professional ,after i read your comments i replace the usb cable aaannnnnnnd , perfect the remote and drone are working perfect ,thanks for your time and comments, very helpfully thanks again.
I am a late comer here. This is how I overcome the problem (dji go app always show "How to connect" instead of "Camera"). This is for P3 Adv or Pro - With Drone, controller and Android phone or tablet power on, pull out the USB cable (one side only) then plug it back in. The tablet will show message "Open Dji Go when this USB accessory is connected? Then "Use by default for this USB accessory". You reply OK to it. Then the "How to connect" will change to "Camera". The reason for this problem, I think, is because the tablet don't know what is the Controller USB, you have inform him that this is no ordinary USB device like a thumb drive. Once it is being informed it will always show "Camera". Hope it works for you, good luck.
I had the same problem, I did all the tricks to make it work and no luck! I'm using iPhone 6s plus 9.3.1.. I gone nuts solving this problem! Last resort for me is to reset the iPhone to factory settings from iTunes, just make sure you back up your iPhone from your computer so that you could reload everything up again. And then after that an hour and half .....Success!!! Finally its working!! It does really work for me, you guys should try it too.
+jeianvelasco Nice, i´m glad it worked :). its so stupid that DJI only tells you the APPLE devices that are compatible, but not what Android devices :/. i had to buy a new Ipad, so i had to spend the 300 bucks i saved on the sale xD
+Dizzy Viper I did it last night only and very happy that its working now. I bought mini iPad 2 also cause i thought that my iPhone 6s plus latest iOS version is not compatible with the dji go app. Im still waiting for the mini iPad though. I watched this video many many times coz I'm looking for a solution to this problem. Thanks for posting this coz at first, I thought that I was the only one who's having this issue and gave me the confidence that it can be fixed. And finally solved it. Thanks a lot man!!
i bought the ipad min2 as well and it works fine :D
I have Phantom 3 Standard (no usb connection possibility). I had to turn off 4g/mobile data and it started working! (Thanks to LAS for the tip)
Its funny how much I reconise the couple of frames that you showed (the area outside) of your window. Good memory’s.
^^ yeah right :D
Same issue, RESOLVED on my DJI 3 Advanced with new Galaxy Tab A 8". I too was experiencing the "disconnected" issue and tried everything until stumbling upon the following. On my tablet I had to turn on "Developer Options". If not already turned on, go to Settings, About Device and tap on "Build Number" 7 times.(Plenty of RUclips videos on this as well) Now you should have a "Developer Options" button to enter those options. Once in those options go to the Networking heading, and scroll down to "USB Configuration", once there select the "RNDIS(USB Ethernet) button. Now try connecting again. After doing these simple steps my Galaxy tablet connected to my tablet without issue. This option will have to be reset every time you restart the tablet as it is not the default. Not saying this will work for everyone, but I was extremely frustrated as most of you sound and was glad to shine some light on it. Hopefully this works for some others!
Hi Jace
Thanks a lot for this explication! Was very helpfull for me. Had no problems connecting my iphone / ipad to the Dji GO App. After switching to my Android 7 Huawei phone (brand new) connection to Dji GO App did not work - as I know by now because of that stupid USB configuration. Even after doing as you told above, I had to try it many times until the Go App could connect to the aircraft. Finally it worked! Thanks for your help!
Solution: The problems is that smart phones are getting dumber. Plug everything in and turn everything on. You have to find your USB menu on your phone and tell it to use the USB for more than just charging. Solved.
Just a few thoughts....I have the same aircraft....I use an IPAD that works brilliantly........without knowing your whole story here is what I would ask/note:1. You can update your transmitter with a usb flash drive-use the same firmware you use for the aircraft. Be SURE you have the correct firmware (ie PC or Mac)2. What kind of tablet is that?....If it is an android, you need to go to "developer options" and enable USB debugging in order to activate your drone with that tablet...Good luck!Dr. S
+TheRay141 This is the GL-300B RC, DJI said, that this RC modell is only updatable via the tablet. I Also tried to upadtae it via USB Drive...No luck. its an ASUS MEmo Pad HD 7 btw. My ipad is too old (Ipad 4) doesnt support the app. Debugging is enabled too. I get a Message on the tablet "Media device connectet" then it says "USB debugging".
...hmmm...It sounds as if it might be trying to go through that "debugging" process....maybe give it some time..
If that (or updating the operating system) still will not let it connect, maybe borrow someone'e iPad-that way you can at least know that your aircraft works, and a possible tablet to use....
+TheRay141 yeah thanks, im gonna do that soon
if you even use an iPhone you can at least determine your aircraft works......from there either determine if OS upgrade will work or you need a new ipad....I can tell you that you will love the HD clarity of Ipad air (that is what I use)......let me know if I can help in any way...
Happy flying!
Yeah thats one option i just want to try everything before buying a new ipad, cause its expensive, and i spend majority of my money on the drone XD
For the phantom3 professional, turn on the drone and remote. Hold the two buttons c1 and c2 which are on the back of remote and the record button until the remote beeps. Then release those buttons and push the dial on top right of remote until blue light on remote comes on, the light on the side of your drone should now blink green meaning it should link to your DJI GO app when oped. This worked for me.
same problem with same machine, i can move gimble but nothinng else, i believe it is the the usb port on the controller, u can replace it for 100$ from dji, i have not tried this yet but im sure it is the issue, did u get it to work, i have tried different devices and cables
Hi im having the exact issue atm did you ever replace that board and did it work?
my mate & i was having the same problem with our phantom 3's & what you have to do to solve the problem is to debug what ever android device you are using, GOOGLE how to debug what ever device you are using as every device is different
once you have done that you will be able to use your drone & App like normal
this would actually solve the issue
thanks happy droning
Everybody has the same problem when you upgrade the version
hello.... what is the solution?
@@djmauriciomth The solution is to re-enable the USB tethering in your phone's settings, apparently the update resets/turns it off.
@@CBR900RR4U2NV what about iphone?
I have the iPad Air 2 and iPhone 6 and a 6s and tried my daughters Galaxy s7 no go same problem.
I've had the same problem with my drone but I changed the cabel between the mobile and the controller and went really well
It is very simple, once you are inside in the App - press remote controller settings- press Linking Remote Control and when start beeping press with needle the linking button on the Aircraft that is behind the camera under the sticker with the serial number
Don't you think most of us have tried that about 1000 times?
I tried the tips that everyone else gave and mentioned in the comments below but nothing worked ,
just sharing what fixed my challenge!
bro I cant see the solution in this video, i got the same problem! I spend almost 1000$ and i cant use my phantom 3 profesional, I got LG pro lite as the android cellphone but i cant syncronize with the aircraft, PLEASE HELP ME
hi dizzy viper, I know what is wrong with it. the problem is from the controller ,this the same thing happening to mine not until I meet friend who owns a P3AD is linked his controller to my drone and also used my app that I thought was bad and you know what every thing worked fine . so please change your RC
we also have similar issue with our own Dji phantom 3 professional please we need urgent solution to it any info concerning how to solve the problem, please let us know.
It seems as if this problem didn't accure until the Phantom 4 came out. Before then I had no problems.
Additionally, I am using both ANDROID and IOS devices to try to resolve the RC connection issue and they are both behaving exactly the same. The IOS device does not need to have any "USB" options selected for communicating over the USB bus.
thank you david fetterman you saved my life sir
Probably solved, but maybe go into settings in phone/tablet and change WiFi from your home?
hey i don't know if this will help any of you but this helped me.
1. turn off developer tools on your android device
2. check your cable. different cables or the smallest issue with a cable will prevent it from working
i did both and it works perfectly again on my android tablet. it stumped me forever because the cable that worked for my phone did not work for my tablet, but when i tried a thicker micro usb cable it worked perfectly.
Turning off developer mode worked for me. Thanks heaps - that was so bloody frustrating.
Then it took me another 20 minutes to figure out how to make my iPhone work and be held horizontally, that's what those little hinges half way up
are for !! Christ if I am having this much trouble before even leaving the ground I think this might be a pending disaster but I will push on
I had the same problem with my Phantom 4. I could not get it to connect to my Galaxy Tab E, but it did connect to my Galaxy S7. FIX FOR ME: I was using the supplied usb to micro usb cable from Dji to connect my Tab E to the Phantom 4 controller, as soon as I changed the usb to micro usb cable to my stock charging cable for my S7 it worked with no problems. Hope this helps people resolve this problem using the Phantom 4.
And try to use DJI GO app, in stead for DJI PILOT app also...
I have similar problem, my iPhone 6 works fine ,all is good. my new iPad air 2 will not connect. I am using the same USB cable and the latest firmware. Oh and the iPad works ok using the usb connector for others apps.
+REDmastMEDIA hmmm thats strange, have you tried to set the drone/device back to factory settings? cause sometimes there´s just a little bug with the ipad (a small window should pop up asking if you wanna trust the device...or NAH xD
thanks I will try that
Got it working...thanks for your help, you must do a clean restore to factory settings. Doing partial restores on the iPad does not work.
Duhhh had same problem, drove me nuts, watched this video and suddenly Duhh it's the cable supplied, iPhone or I pad des not like it, use their cable and all works good
original cable here, nothing , ipad goes into charger mode.
where can I get the cable? I am having the same problem he is having. can can text me at wacevedotorres@aol.com
Have you solved it? I had the same problem and finally solved it. In my case I had to unplug the USB and plug it again. Once I did that the phone recognized a new USB connection and used that connection for the DJI Go app. After that a registering process and everything started to work. Since you unplugged and plugged again your tablet without success I assume you need to set something up in your tabs USB configuration. Take a look at your tabs USB setup.
+Yo Mismo yeah i solved it bought an ipad mini 2 and it worked from the start :D
stfu idiot.
Bish whet?! XD
I had the same problem. We had tried a lot with white usb cable. and we couldn't connect. So we tried other usb cable (the black one) we could connect easly.!!!
I had same problem I changed cable and all good👍
hello i had the same problem!!did u find some solution?
Did you get this fixed? I found the problem and fixed mine.
Yes i fixed it :)
+Dizzy Viper how did you fix it?
+zak adam Yes, I fixed mine. The key thing was not just updating the application but updating the firm ware on the remote AND, most importantly is to know that you have to update the drone itself separately. Get the firm ware, save it to the SD card for the Drone, place in slot, restart drone, and let it install. That did it for me.
yeah i fixed it :)
+Dizzy Viper Sorry, thought zak adam was asking me how I fixed mine. Hope my comments are helpful.
for mine. I have to turn off and on the drone for several times until by luck it get connected properly.
I had the same issue with my Professional 3 drone. I am using the note 5. Plug everything in as normal. slide down your top. It will say (CONNECTED FOR CHARGING ). Touch the button next to (CONNECTING MIDI DEVICES).
Your drone will now work!!
Won't work
HI GUYS, I HAD THE SAME PROBLEMS WITH MY MINI IPAD , IPAD1 AND IPAD 2, ALL WHAT I DID WAS RESET AND UPDATE MY IPADS AND DONT HAVE NOT MORE PROBLEMS , NOW I CAN USE MY 3 IPADS WITH OUT PROBLEMS
its simple turn on usb debugging mode in security..thats how u fix that issue
what about apple ipad , what to change there?
I just had the same issue with my Phantom 3 4k camera. DJI support told me to file a service request online. The form would not recognize my serial number. Called them back and they punched it in. They then informed me they no longer work on the 4k model. My copter is useless. I won't buy DJI again.
I HAVE THE SAME PROBLEM! Please did you find how to fix it?? I spend a lot money for this.
Over Mario go to settings wifi dji phantom 3 than it will connect but you need the controller on it has the wifi
It's 4/19/06, I've been flying without incident until I downloaded the required 1.6 firmware. Now, I'm getting the "aircraft disconnected" on my iPad mini 3 Dji app screen, tried over and over to re link it but to no avail.HELP
hmm thats strange, have you tried reseting the aircraft and the RC?
So buying an iPad solved the issue?
Hey I am having the same problem with mine too but mine seems to be blinking yellow lights. Did you ever found out a solution for the issue?
Yes, i bought an ipad mini 2 and it works :) kinda sucks to spend 300€ additional, but at least now it works
So a comen issue with the phantom 3 pro/adv is the USB port and the USB board is very poorly made and they break down over time. For $24.99 you can order a new usb board on amazon. The replacement procedure is very simple. Just remove the cover, remove the 3 philips screws holding the board on, then flip the tiny black switches that hold the 3 ribbon wires. Then do everything in reverse with the new board. there is no need to buy a new remote or the $100 hdmi module, just a new board on amazon. Also check your devices on the DJI website👍
Thanks for the insight, this problem is driving me crazy. To confirm, the USB still drives power to my ipad, do you think transfer of data would still be hindered? What makes me believe that your suggestion is valid is because I can't seem to upgrade the RC firmware when connecting SD with adapter nor USB with bin file.
Djimo Serodio there are 4 pins on the usb. 2 for power and 2 for data. Your data pins might be bad. They could be re-soldered or replace the board. (They would be the middle ones)
Djimo, I had the same problem from time to time, all times(2 times) I have fixed by replacing USB cable between RC controller and mobile device and it worked fine for me, so I suggest for you to try to replace cable.
I had the same problem. I fixed mine with a new USB cable.
NOW, it's drifting wildly all over the sky, which is my next problem to fix. I'm hoping the gnomes fix it overnight, though.
use p mode not a mode.. you bumped the toggle switch...
And make sure you calibrated it
[plug the cgarging cable into the controller and into your device. that should pull up the apps u have for your phantom 3 pro. this happens tom e and its 2020 unless i unplug the plug my cord into the device im using it doesnt connect to my drone
i got problem with my phantom 3 pro is i can fly my drone but app showing weak signal n i can't see anything on mobile screen
Awesome information, I just subscribed!
the flexible cable in the remote is broken
I couldn't get the app to connect and it was just a bad cord between my phone and rc.
Thanks everybody for 20K views :D
same problem, my android app is not connecting to the remote anymore.. DJI is doing a great job.. #sarcasm.
i am actually shocked that that many people got the same problem.....the only solution i found was buying a new ipad :(
Being stubburn etc.. i solved my problem, not sure if it would help you or not.
Maybe others in the future,, i disassemblied the RC and found the USB was bad.
Check the last post here on the forum, i postet images.
forum.dji.com/forum.php?mod=viewthread&tid=60962&page=1#pid474235
Now it's working again.
click the reset button on the drone... fixed
click the reset button on the drone fixed..........
click the reset button on the drone fixed......................
I had some problem too, but it solved,, just try to change ur cable...
Going to your Wi-Fi and look for the phantom and then connect to the drone Wi-Fi that should work
Your device is not supported
Try removing the micro sd card from the aircraft, put it in the computer, and get the update, then put it back in the aircraft. May work, May not.
Have you tried this; 1 start the RC and then the drone
Yes sure
Try a new binding...
did you select "phanton3" in your wifi setting on your phone and tablet?
MA D he didn't 😂
Were you able to solve this issue? I have a brand new iPad Mini 2 (compatible per DJI) and it will not work
I bought the same ipad but it worked :) do you have the latest firmware on your controller and the aircraft
I am am. It sure as I can't connect to the tablet to see
What is the latest?
i think its, 1.6 or something like that.....Check the DJI website you can see it there...i´m not sure
+Dizzy Viper I have tried but after 1.3 it updates via app I believe
Hi guys!!!I have f3s I got the dji app went through the app got to activate!!!!then it wouldn't,t activate!!!it says please check your internet connection ,you are not connected!!!I do that and I ,m already connected!!and I try again with the same result why!!!
The main problem is that the app only supports certain devices from only Samsung and Apple, that's it.
Somebody could help me with this problem? Only appear the logo of DJI and I can’t connect the camera, only is a black screen with the logo but the gimbal is functioning correctly
Does anyone know of a solution for this but with an IPhone instead of android and the controller that connects wirelessly, not with the cable? I bought the drone package that came with everything originally. I crashed it a couple weeks ago of course and sent it back and I bought a new drone but it was just the drone itself since I had the controller already.
bro have you fixed this yet, i am having the exact same problem
+Danielle Campbell Yes, i bought an ipad. but now my rc stopped working for no reason its just not turning on.
+GamingDJ So your initial problem was the tablet you were using? Had it worked before? If so, what did you do to the tablet between it working and not working, maybe a firmware upgrade? Anything else?? I'm asking because I'm having a related problem.
Yes it was the tablet. I sent the drone back for repair, and now it´s working flawlessly :)
My problem found that it maybe the cord itself that connects the tablet and the RC. Solution; used a different cord.
No i tried it with a different one. Now i have an ipad and it works
i got mine to work but not connect phone i fly blind .... sigh i connected the remote to the dji and started it ... i cant get to udate the firmware
Check if your phone is compatibler with the drone......i dont recommend flying blind
wow how unfortunate. I had similar issues and sent mine back. thanks for sharing. I subscribed to your channel would love to have your support as well. thanks again for sharing
no problem :D yeah i´ll check it :)
I have seen this problem for several months on both my P3P and my brother's brand new P3P. They both happened after a GO app update. After trying several iterations to find the best solution, the only one that works well is once I have the RC on and then the drone on and linked, then I plug in the cable from my device to the controller and let the device start-up the GO app automatically. I may not get a link initially but if I unplug the USB cable from the RC and re-plug it (it may take 5 to 10 tries) it has worked every time for me. On several occasions I have gone in and cleared the GO app default settings on my tablet so that it will always ask me if I want the GO app to be the default for this device and that has helped as well. This could be necessary for me since I also have the Litchi app on my tablet.
I am thinking it might be a flaky USB port on the RC since I can finally get a connection by re-plugging the cable several times (each time pushing the cable snuggly into the USB port on the RC). Hope this helps until the true problem is discovered.
i have a lot of problems RC + aircraft not accept the update ... no signail in APP and no connacted between RC with drone
ok this might be a stupid question but are you sure everything on and in the drone is from DJI because i heard that there are Phantoms with fake Batteries out there, thats the last option i can give (but its very very very unlikely....but possible)
Everything's from DJI Nothing change ..
Hi, I'm having the same problem, I did change the ribbon cable because the last owner broken it, but for now I can only move the gimbal just like you! How can I fix this problem??
TBH i really do not know....as i said I bought a new Ipad at it suddenly worked
which ipad is it
ipad mini 2
Dizzy Viper does is stil work
well yes :D
You need to get the wifi up for your drone. Then it should be good to go
¿Wifi in phantom 3 pro? You do know nothing
hi I´ve got same problema since Android 6 a
uploaded. what can I do?
Did u have any joy it's it
I'm very upset about this problem. My iPhone 5s, ipad4, I've got 4 Apple cable doesn't works. "How to connect" message make me crazy. I was already connected cable or iphone. Now I ordered dji HDMI module.
sad to hear that :/ wow that really sucks....good luck man :)
Im tired of trying to figure out this fucking Phantom , 1st one was returned due to a faulty battery in the remote, Now my second one is about to go back because somewhere in the start up process it fucked up and now sounding like a fire alarm going off non stop, wont go away. You should not have to be a scientist of computer guroo to operate the fucking thing. DJI should do better.
Totally agree. DJI support is worthless.
That's a beastly toy!
Yeah it would be if it worked
Can't get fast flashing yellow lights off dji phantom professional 3 4k
hey viper I have a phantom 4 and im.having the same problem. did you figure this problem out? please help me
i did not found a good solution :( i bought a new ipad mini 2 and then it worked :)
apple gear works all the time :) But ragz, i you can crack the software and change it into I.O.S :)
@@iraxxdk7722 my iPad doesn’t

Like if it worked...mine did
Tried so many ways but doing it the way you mentioned actually worked!!! thanks
THIS IS THE SOLUTION!! Thanks!
Yesssssssssss, I can use my drone again. Thank you Filmguys UK!!!!!
i think the problem in firmware version .... i change the tablet and cable ... ... nothing is changing
could also be....idont know. i changed tablet and it worked
Usb cable or the module is faulty
hey i got same problem ,,,since my aircraft is uptodate and now my rc is not connecting with aircraft, phantom,,,saying aircraft disconnected,,somebody help me,,,,,
Chemi Wangdue had you fix it? Same issue as mine
I have an IPAD 3 64 GB newest firm ware IOS 9.3, both remote and aircraft are updated. My android phone works and connects but my Ipad does not (unloaded the DJIGO app reinstalled) connect; tried 3 cables, shut all down brought it back up still nothing on each cable. it will fly but no camera link to the ipad also nothing on screen so can see bird fly but nothing else. Can connect the phone and BAM its all there. This is frustrating as I can see others are having this issue.
It states that the IPAD with ios of 8.0 or better will work.
Yeah i still have ios 8 on my i pad and it works fine....yeah i know its super frustrating
My RC does not have the USB connection it connects remotely to my ipad mini3, you have to connect through wifi to the phantom, it askes for the password the default is 12341234, workrd perfect
I am having a similar problem with a Phanton 3 Standard. I downloaded the app, signed up and get to the wifi settings on my phone. Put in the default password (12341234) to connect and it says incorrect password. Help!
Wade you posted long ago, did you get yours going? I have a Phantom 3 Standard like you do. I originally used it with an ipad mini, and worked flawlessly. ipad got wet so it died, so I used a couple of times with a Galaxy s3 or a Galaxy s5 and worked fine. Did short flies because the small screen was hard to see. I then stopped using it for a couple of months, and when I went to use it with my Galaxy S5 it forced and update. First time after the update it worked fine. A couple of weeks after, soon after it took off it would lose video. Since then I put away the drone and didn't really use it.
Last week I wanted to use it, and I am having ALL kinds of problems. I can't get wifi to connect to the remote from my old Galaxy S5. With my new Xiaomi 9 Lite, after many many attempts I am able to connect to wifi, but usually that is only half the battle. As often even when connected to wifi the app doesn't make connection with the drone.
I did forget the password I had set up, so I did a password reset. Also not sure if the remote was properly binding or not (didn't notice the green light underneath), but I could use the dial to move the camera, so my guess is that it was binding correctly. I went ahead and manually did a re bind and after that I was finally able to fly my drone.
When I say finally fly, i mean just a quick 2 to 3 minute flight, since shortly after takeoff it loses connection and the drone comes back. Also the fly home height is set at zero, but if I put any number other than zero it rejects it.
Did you have any luck with yours? Next week I plan to purchase litchi and see if that works. Litchi people are willing to give me a one week trial period, and if it doesn't work I can get a refund for the app price. Keeping my fingers crossed
i had had same problems do what u was doing but use ur tablet gotowifi settinngs look for phantom conncet to that wifi is 1234 1234 then once u have done that ur careara willl work an
and ull find it works
Ok, so what is the solution for the Phantom 3 standard?????
Standard uses wifi, pro uses a hard wire
I am having the same problem with the Mavic Pro, so i bought a tablet from their list and it works when it wants and more often then not IT WILL NOT CONNECT! GRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR
Have you log in to your DJi Account in the App?

same here, I'm having the same problem.. And I'm still searching for a solution
I will tell you step by step how to fix the exact same problem! the
problem is in our devices for example smart phones or tablets. I have
Asus tablet and i just had to go Settings / Storage / than click on the
USB icon (USB computer connection) and make sure that Media device (MTP)
is turned ON and you are good to go ! Connect now to your controller
and you will have the problem fixed and you will see again your aircraft
ready for use!

Same exact problem with my p3 standard.

For me i had to turn off 4g/mobile data.
Mine was a faulty cable.
Ryan Hedger I have a standard so that wasn't the issue.
Oh I see
There are approximately 3 different ways to either link the aircraft and or complete the upgrade to the AC and the RC.
I am beginning to think that there is an issue related to firmware on the GL300A RC that is getting the update confused to the point where the AC updates, and the RC will attempt to update but then not complete... rendering the RC basically dead. OR, the AC will update but is tied to the App...so that any old firmware on a pre App capable RC device will be in a stuck mode...
The remote needs to get its update for the APP connectivity from the AC, but the AC firmware, once updated will not allow the RC to get its firmware update from the AC or from a USB card with the chip included because the RC may have already started a portion of the update and failed.
If there is an early update to the GL300A RC... previous to the update that allows for the App to update the system (as in GL300B RC), then when an update that makes both devices (AC and RC) capable of being upgraded by the App is delivered to both devices at the same time the RC fails.
Its possiblePossibly only on the GL300A Remote Controls (RC).
you gotta plug in your usb cable to thepad and other end into controller
i did
The new controllers it comes with does not give a usb port to plug into. it only has a microUSB to charge.
ruclips.net/video/pv-pxg9SCek/видео.html please watch this ,it should help becoz it did help me
i have the same problem but the swith tip don´t solve my problem.. any one else...??
please we need ur help on it.
I'm having the same problems.... No help from DJI, have watched every video, read everything... NOTHING! I think I'll just return it and find something else!
Really?! i had another problem about 6 month ago ( broken rc) and i just called them and told what happened, they gave me a number i can send the package to. And after a few weeks my drone came back and everything worked. :) personally i am very satisfied with the support :/
Lucky you! My husband has been having this issue and has done every trouble shooting idea they asked him to. It started after the firmware update. They said to send it in, and when he did they told him the problem was the motherboard on the camera! Took weeks to get it back, and they sent it to the wrong province first! We just got it back 2 weeks ago and it wasn't fixed! It still has the same connection problem, and now the camera makes an awful clicking noise and won't fully rotate! Also they had an invoice for another person in the case and not my husband! DJI is doing nothing to help, and have had him trying the same crap all over again! Today we were told that he original case was closed and a new one would have to be opened, even though the email he received said different!
We have lost out on an entire summers work because of DJI!
wow that sucks D: i had the same issue (clicking noise and not fully rotating) with the P2 but after a few Firmware updates it worked (more or less)
we never had any camera issues prior to sending it away :/ So not impressed with DJI

Rustislav Stoianov Please help me bro step by step, do I need to update it by SD card to computer. help please
Oh man, that was it. Just went into the USB notification "USB charging this device, Tap for more options". Then I selected "Transfer files" which is MTP mode.
This information should be in the DJI Go app, it would save much frustration.
How do I find this on an iPad? My husband is going nuts because this does not work. Thank you
i did that still not working
Me too! I called them and they said they'd walk me through the connection I'll let you now how it works from there.
