ALL of us underrate this fella so much. He didn't just won, he was named Best Player in Argentina, Brazil and Italy. He was Top Scorer in EPL. He went from MANU to CITY and didn't even flinch, instead of his game being affected under such pressure, he raised it. He also showed that he adapted in MANU to a support role position but he was actually a 1st TIER figure. He was the real first TOP player that started to put CITY as a major presence in EPL. His bigest flaw was that allways at some point, because of his fault and others, he got tired of a situation and he left like nothing, but speaks volume of his talent and personality that this never affected his level in the picth no matter where and when. Like el Kun, he didn't have the best timing regarding the NT, a real shame because both were formidable CRACKS. But this man really is underrated because he just wasn't there in his teams winning a title within a group, he was almost allways the main figure or one of those in every title with his CLUBS. Plus I do not think people realize how many spectacular goals he has made.
In my eyes he was better than Rooney. Very similar, very close, but imo he was better. People easily forgot what an absolutely unstoppable animal he was for City in his first fwo seasons. Then he had a fight with Mancini and basically didn't want to play. After that he got to Juve and became a legend for them in just two seasons.
Tevez dragged City into the top four teams in the PL when we weren't really good enough. Games when we hung on and defended like mad, only for Tevez to grab goals on his own to win games we had no right to win. I think he is a massive part in City being where we are today.
Yep. He was an absolute animal with City, in earlier years before the problems with Mancini when he refused to play 100%. Used to score amazing goals on his own all the time, carried the team. He was absolutely brilliant with Juve again, such class... He was just an absolutely amazing blend of skill, technique, power, pace, aggression, intelligence, work rate, class. Had everything you could as from a football played. Absolutely loved to watch him. Imo prime Tevez (early City years, Juve era) was better than prime Rooney (2008-2012).
@@Deathmare235 I would say he had similar ability at City and United but at City he had more freedom to express himself as a forward, at United he just had to defend and do too much of the dirty work all the time. At Juve he lost a touch of his earlier power and pace and stamina, not much just a touch, but he gained some experience and decision making, he was pure class at Juve. Yeah, if you look at his career his peak was definitely not at United. Even though he won huge titles there, he just couldn't express himself as a player as much as he was able to do that at City and Juve.
People call him a mercenary but they never realised how many battles he had to go through and what really made him choose money over loyalty for a club. One of the greatest forwards. Carlitos.
Tevez, like Maradona, was a 'product' of his tough upbringing. When your youth friends are dying, drugging or stealing, just surviving and keeping out of trouble is a win.
Glad you did this video. I was aware of Tevez's backstory. I feel that considering his really tough upbringing, he had quite a strong mentality. People with trauma filled pasts can find it hard to get along with others. He has done a pretty incredible job overcoming his past. Have you mentioned anywhere which clubs you like the most?
Did it today for teh first time but I'll save you the time, I'm portuguese, Porto is my local club, but I mainly watch Juventus now, because of CR7, also like to watch Man utd and Wolves lately
@@DailyDoseOfFootballYT That's pretty cool. I have been a fan for Juventus and the Wolves for a long time. I also became quite fond of Villarreal. Not a fan of Man Utd, but watching them rebuild has been interesting. I've been enjoying your videos. Keep up the good work and keep refining your style as you keep going.
you all probably dont give a shit but does anyone know of a method to log back into an Instagram account?? I was dumb lost the login password. I would love any tricks you can offer me!
I think his trophy cabinet score is a little underrated. Libertadores has a huge weight here in South America, and he won the league in every team he's played in, in the most prestigious football countries (Argentina, Brazil, England, Italy)
@@Fresh-qc3zn nahh, I don't agree. His time with Juve was probably his most mature time in Europe, while still having great physical ability. I'd say his time in Juve belongs to his prime years, alongside his first two seasons with City. I'd say those are his best 4 seasons im his career, his peak. He probably had more physical power in the City years, ability to make runs all the time, but he was more intelligent and technical in his Juve years, although he had everything during all those seasons.
As a brazilian and Corinthians fan I guarantee you we dont see him as a traitor, but as one of the biggest idols in recent history, even his time on our club being short
This channel is brilliant. I've had so many enjoyable moments reminiscing about the players of my youth, and those my parents & grandparents lived too. Thank you for making these well researched & perfectly paced videos.
His time at West Ham was bonkers and wonderful in equal measure. Fans absolutely loved him and I think he felt the same about us - working class fans and a working class footballer 👍
The man is single handedly responsible for City becoming a great team. I remember from 2009 to 2011, he was the only player of any worth in that Man City team which had a young Kompany, David Silva and later Yaya Toure. But still it was only Tevez who carried that team and set the base for that legendary season of 2011-12. Even in that season, Tevez proved he was very important during the latter half of the season. His hattrick at Norwich started a series of wins which culminated in City winning their first Premier League in 44 years.
Tevez has scored more goals for Manchester City than for any other club he's played for (58) yet you fail to show any clip of him playing for City and show him playing for united and Juventus when talking about his victorious time with the sky blues. I like all the other coverage of our legend though, his upbringing and his early years.

My favorite player ever. Legend 🥲 one of the best to ever do it. He Could do it all. Phenomenal in every facet of the game. Did it in multiple leagues never having a down season, GOATED.
Corinthians fan here. Tevez should have a better rating, he should have at least a 7/10 in mentality, he was successfull in every team he played also icon factot, at least 8/10... he is huge in Argentina and still huge in the corinthians fan base. I ll give some discount for being hated in manchester

He left because of his daughters they could never adapt to England. Aguero had the same issue but he lives alone in Manchester. Manchester isn’t a place a lot of players want to play .
