Watching this three years later knowing that Uniek is gone. What a wonderful day this was. Thank you all who donated. Yvonne and Uniek have been a gift to us all.
Geertje, Rinske and Faya put in a lot of 'love' work celebrating Unique and Yvonne. Love their closeness and Faya's excitement and joy are so heartwarming.
Sometimes the biggest gift you can give someone is the opportunity to give back, to be a part of something. So Yvonne got her horse, but we all got the opportunity to be part of something special, to come together and do something that would be impossible for most of us as separate people. What an absolutely wonderful lesson, we, from all over the world, with our small, and our big donations, as each was able, could make someone’s dream come true. So like others, I am touched and thankful to be part of that, and to know that every time we see them together, we will remember, we did this.

So just saw this video, even my husband watched with me...crying with delight...when you see the emotion this big, graceful animal has for Yvonne throughout the videos, you just know Yvonne is sending out the same feelings. Now their relationship has gone deeper. Love this. Uniek is beyond beautiful and so is Yvonne. All of us are enchanted. No doubt. This lovely farm with its business of breeding genuine Friesians has been a blessing to everyone who loves horses and dogs and cats and families and well run farms. These horses are all loved they reflect this.

Can hardly believe our beloved Queen is now gone - but her well documented life will long be remembered, and it’s impossible not to smile even at this sad time, when looking at her beauty and the life long bond between her and Yvonne.

There are no words to describe the shift after the heaviness, like a mountain of concern, for being SO IN LOVE with Uniek for ALL THOSE YEARS and having to think of selling her. The mountain is finally GONE off your shoulders and you can ride her with JOY and LIGHT in your heart knowing now that she is YOURS! Tears of Joy! This is a little taste of heaven on earth! How gorgeous the girls would do this thing for you. I don't know who's idea it was to create a RUclips Channel for the stables, but it was an ingenious one, and one that ultimately benefits the stable and the breed. I though it was Yvonne, if so then this horse is what she deserves. It takes time to film, edit and subtitle as well as doing her job at the stables and running a home with 2 small children, one being a baby! Well done Yvonne and Uniek.

Yes bareback and bit less! If I'd had ridden like that on some of the horses I've ridden in my time I'd have been in the mud quite soon haha. Amazing how calm these Friesian horses are.

This is wonderful. Uniek's royal promenade! I love how she checks in with various members of the herd, and is so gentle with Faya (great to see Faya!). All the grooming made her gleam, so beautiful! How nice to see the celebration. I bet that Rein is happy that Uniek will be staying, too. I just kept thinking: and now Uniek is truly truly home to stay. Hooray!
