- WOW!😍 It is a miracle! Riding for the first time after the accident? What a great feeling!
They didn't expect me to come out of a coma like the old Yvonne.
The video is from September 1, 2022. I have little energy to edit videos. Fortunately, the problems I had 2 months ago have already improved. Hopefully it will be even better in a few months. I now do about 10% of what I did before my accident. We'll get there slowly!
Thank you for all your sweet comments etc.❤️
Oda has not ridden often on Reintje. She used to ride a lot. Now she tries to ride a horse a little more often. She is practicing well.

To help with a new helmet!
That’s really very sweet. Thank you💙🌷
Goedzo!
So nice of you!!!💙
That's so sweet!!!! ❤️🤗
just paypal and make a note for 'helmet', yes?
As a nurse, I can say truthfully, doctors don't know everything! The ability to heal itself is a truly surprising aspect of the human body that medicine still hasn't completely figured out yet. Great to see you where you belong. You go, Yvonne!
The body remembers. The hard part is to get the memories co-ordinated so everything works the way it used to!
Really, really, really. It is a wonder and we are all so happy and thankful. You are great, Yvonne. We love you.
Medicine is about keeping you on a permanent protocol and not healing. So yes nature and bodies are a miracle. PS. No free animal ever sees a doctor. All injuries heal by the body's natural self-healing power.
So true!!
yes i am a neuro intensive care nursing sister and i also work with the care group headway , which help aftercare for head injured patients, so we have all grades of aftercare for these types of individuals, so seeing Yvonne today was remarkable and delightful , only Yvonne can help herself and it was wonderful to see her again back on a horse , it will give her the confidence to strive to return to a normal way of life for her , we cannot dictate whats right or wrong its only how she feels , and today was wonderful , i admire her courage immensely and was i big giant step forward . its great we are all here to support her don’t you think ? , i know if i were in the same situation i would thrive knowing i had the love and support from her group of followers , my love to everybody , liz from the UK xxxx
It takes determination and courage to live your dream. Especially when life gives you a test and you have resolved to be a winner. And you, Yvonne, are the example for everyone! There will be pain but you'll ride past it with your Friesians💕🐎
Yvonne, to see that damaged helmet and bent stirrup...then seeing you riding beautifully despite it all...breath taking! I think it is safe to say we have all been waiting for this day for you. You are an inspiration! ❤️
❤️❤️❤️
YES! That was a such a hard 🤕fall! So happy to see Yvonne back in the saddle 🥳🥰😘
Yvonne, we love you! Goed zo!
GOED ZO! 🎉
Throw away the damaged helmet and please use a new one. Welcome back, Yvonne.🇬🇧
I am so happy for Yvonne. Her passion for horses will not be held down!
It is always a joy and a great miracle to hear your voice and have you back with us Yvonne, it is a great miracle performed by all of us first of all your husband who was close to you and of all the people you have been close during your hospitalization, there is only one word to say thank you Lord ❤️
Amen!
Yes 👍 were so worried about you ❤ Good morning from Michigan USA
@@muffassa6739 Yes! Again from Michigan, USA also! So good to see Yvonne up in the saddles again!!! Thanks be to God! What a miracle!!!
Her voice is so much stronger now, almost as strong as before the accident. She's also getting better with her head tilt, even though some of it could be because the light probably doesn't hurt her eyes as much. Hopefully, her brain won't be affected by the up-and-down movements of riding a horse. Her recovery is fantastic, even though she might think it's slow. I hope she always remains optimistic because that's so important in this kind of recovery.
And another YES from Michigan, USA. So good to see you on a horse again and showing how it should be done. Love all the horses too.
It's like a world that fell to pieces has been restored. Yvonne, you may feel the aftershocks of the accident for some time to come, but on the outside you look just magnificent. And your clip of the mothers and foals trotting toward you is one of your best captures ever.
You know, it's strange but beautiful how invested we get in what is really a stranger's life, but I am truly so happy to see your progress! I was so scared for you and am beyond relieved and happy you are recovering so well!🙏💛🙏
This is so true!
Beautifully said!
agreed. I cried so much when the anouncement of her accident was made my husband thought there was a tragedy in the family or something. And when Bauke's video about her recovery came out, his tears made me choke and tear up so much my husband glanced at the screen (noticed which chanel it was) and asked "OH NO, she died?" and I was, "NO! she is fine!":
I was so relieved.
I will NEVER get used to the miracle of Yvonne awake, aware, on 2 legs, AND riding again! ❤️🙏💞🌈🏇
Sitting here smiling at the screen when hearing Yvonne's voice like before . Her position on Reintje is the one of "her old self", unmistakeble! Great to see her sparkling eyes in her happy face. Makes me happy too! 😄💞
Could not agree more 💗
Yes! That's always the best therapy to get back on the horse you love so much after a fall.. amazing and a blessing!
The body doesn't forget. 🙂
Call me crazy, I don't care. I swear I could feel Reintje thinking: "Delicate cargo on board. Be gentle. Be perfect. This means the world to her." Gotta admit I got a little teary seeing you so happy. You have this dressage thing in your blood. Doctors. Smocktors. Look at you!!! Goedzo!!!
agree ..felt like Reintje knew what was what. They all know her well by smell and visual.
You can tell that Reintje is so totally happy to have you on her back and she's very careful with you as well. It's like my cats they know when you need them the most to be gentle and protected.
Pretty horse I saw of Yvonne horse
Ty Sherry for saying that you see this as I can't read a horse that way. ❣
Ditto!
❤
You can tell that Yvonne and Reinje have a well connected bond! Yes Reinje is careful and just wants to please Yvonne! Both are very happy to be back together! ❤
Ditto to what the 606 comments say about your recovery, Yvonne! A huge thank you to Oda for being there, filming and making sure you don't get too carried away in your riding!! She is a blessing! Klaske is gorgeous! Will she go to inspection at some point? Loved seeing the "babies", too!! We love you all at Stal G!!
Klaske will probably go to the inspection next year🧡🌷
Yes, this is a fantastic video! One that has been waited for. You always appreciate your horses and everyone close to you after a traumatic fall like that was!
@@yvonnedelft9765 Thanks, Yvonne! I will be looking forward to seeing Klaske whenever she goes!
@@bettyeaton6037 You’re very welcome😊 It won’t be anytime soon. Inspection season 2023 for 3/4 yo will start in April/May 💛🌷
Dear Yvonne, I still have tears in my eyes watching your "comeback".
You are such a brave and fine person. You are really a miracle !
All the prayers and love from Germany ❤
Yvonne, you will continue to improve. My husband was not survive a horrible head injury, the accident was so bad they did no surgery. He did come out of the coma after three months, eventually walked, talked and actually drove a car again. Keep healing, listen to your instincts and don’t let the bad days get you down. Remember this will take time. So proud of you. And yes, freak accidents happen. You’ve been stalwart in holding the highest rules safety working with the horses. Love you so❤
That must have been such a wonderful experience Yvonne, to have been so close to death and then to recover enough to ride again! So good to see the delight on your face.
Good remember what did its is wonderful
Yvonne, so happy for you and your continued healing. You are such a positive person with wonderful loving support. Thank you for sharing your journey and wishing you continued success.
It's amazing seeing you riding Reintje again and in the end hearing you calling the mothers and seeing the foals running. It's almost like watching a video from before the accident and that feels great. Back to to the good old times but new and even more special!
YES😍😍
Yvonne, I am blown away by your courage & resolve. It is awesome to see you back in the saddle (riding beautifully & so effortlessly). Your cheeky grin just before you get back in the saddle is so special 😀 Much, much love to you, your family, your friends & to your medical team - you are all heroic. This is a miraculous & a joyous moment ❤️
My prayers couldn't have been answered more perfectly than seeing you back on Reintje. My heart is bursting with joy at the sight of you guiding her around the arena. Yvonne, I felt like my own sister had fallen off that horse even though I have never actually met you. You truly have the heart of a warrior and have proven all those doctors to be completely wrong. What a beautiful and wonderful day!
Great to see you riding again, Yvonne! You are looking fabulous!
That was beautiful to see you riding again. No one sits so perfect on a horse as you do Yvonne. You always look so poised and relaxed.
Love to hear you talking again on the videos and sound so happy.
I hope your eye has recovered by now.
I think you deserve a new helmet too.
Yes, with one eye strange and her ears roaring, still, she sits a horse like a champion! 🙂
This video shows the importance of ALWAYS wearing a helmet when riding - even if it's only for a moment indoors. Those cracks in Yvonne's helmet could have been in her skull instead. Safety first, my friends!
👁❤Friesian 🐎🐎🐎!
I loved hearing you instruct Oda. All that knowledge and expertise is still there, and you were able to remember and explain. And then to see you ride Reintje? Phenomenal! 💫 Yes, it is a miracle! 🙌 All of it! I'm so happy for you, Yvonne! 😊 ❤
Well done Yvonne.! Je hebt jezelf wéér een stukje overwonnen in het proces naar genezing, samen met het lieve geduldige paard Reintje.👍🏽👍🐴🐴🐴☀️🌞⚘️🌷⚘️🌷⚘️
Very heart-warming video! Sweet Reintje so happy to have you riding her and vice versa. The herd is so happy for you! Lovely to have a close-up of Teije Rein too!
So good to see you back where you belong, in the saddle on your beatiful horses.. you are amazing, that smile when you got on your whole face lit up....hugs and love to you all..💞
Even though we have not met in person, I feel like I know you as well as my family, friends, and neighbors here in Michigan, USA, and I have been just as touched by your tragedy and recovery as if it were one of my own family. Your recovery has been nothing short of miraculous and received with nothing but gratitude to God for answered prayer! So wonderful to see you back in the saddle, Yvonne! We love you and keep you in prayer for continued healing!
Yvonne gladly remounts...everyone else holds their breathe! 😬😁❣🙏🇨🇦
Where is the Queen? 👑
@@carolynminter162 She is staying at the vets for observation
Beautifully stated! 😊
@@DianeLee999 Yes, she was at the Vet's for awhile, but now that Yvonne has recovered enough to visit Stal G regularly, Uniek is back home! The videos take some time to be edited so there is a time delay before they are uploaded. Usually the Shorts or the Community Page blogs contain the most up to date news. Of course, I always love the wealth of information I can get and enjoy from the videos!!
The fact that you are riding again is all down to your determination and your passion for horses.
Well done Yvonne you are a great inspiration to others.
YES💕💕
I’m so glad to see Yvonne back in the saddle again. When you think of what could have happened it’s scary, enough of us were bombarding heaven with prayer and I give the Lord the glory for the healing grace that Yvonne received.
YES!! YES!!! You are back on the back of a beautiful Fresian Horse again!!! HURRAYYYYY 💕 💖 💕 🐎🐎🐎🐴
**If anyone is interested, check out the video from 2 years ago when Yvonne first received this helmet that saved her life by searching “unbox helmet” in the friesian horses library.🧡🧡**. It’s a fun video and now is appreciated on a whole new level! Maybe Yvonne can post the link in the communities page??
That was a great video. So thankful Yvonne was wearing it when the fall happened. Glad she is doing so well.
Awe Yvonne....look at you, riding again and doing what you love. You truly are a miracle, and I'm so happy for you with your amazing progress, healing, and well being. Continued prayers for your excellent recovery. You looked so good riding Reintje!!❤🐴❤🐎❤
Dear Yvonne, I'm so happy for you ! Thank you for sharing your extraordinary recovery ☺
This is so awesome to see, Yvonne. You did great and have come so far in a short time. So very proud of you. I would of been so scared to do that. You have a great team of people there to help you and to watch over you so you do not get hurt. Many prayers for you, Yvonne. God bless.

Ah yes, that grin and whisper, you were going to get back in the saddle! I’m glad you followed your heart in the canter around the arena. I’m also glad you know your limits and when to rest. Goedzo!
It's wonderful watching a miracle. You trained Reintje, and she is totally responsive to your every command. We are blessed to share this with you, Yvonne.
You look beautiful with Reintje, Yvonne. You can see how much she trusts and understands your riding. A true partnership. Very relaxed and giving. Oda and Reintje appeared to be figuring each other out. A necessary starting point. I never had any doubt that you would ride again. It is obvious how much you love it and would never give it up.
What a wonderful sight to see you back on Reintje, ❤🎉😍 And well done to Oda, too! 👍🏻😍🐎
It made me feel very emotional 😢 to see Yvonne riding a horse again. I imagine it must be exhilarating for her. I'm so grateful 🙏 for all Yvonne's progress and recovery. I continue my prayers....
What a Joy to see you ride again!...I didn't realize both you AND the horse fell...looking at that bent stir-up...you both fell very hard! I'm amazed other things didn't break, on both you and the horse! A true miracle! Slow and steady...just slow and steady! Reintje is really being careful with you and listening to everything you are asking as you ride. her ears are up and back on you to make sure you are there. Wishing you all the best and a full recovery!....
Yes slow and steady. And with a partner for at least a year! Thank you Oda 😊 💓
@@jayneterry8701 What Jayne said....ride with a friend! Thank you Oda for keeping an eye on Yvonne
Stirrup.... 😁👍💜
I watch this video over and over. It lifts me up when I feel down. I'm blessed to see the joy Yvonne has for simple things like just sitting on Rientje for the first time. I believe that tragic events allow us to re-evaluate what is important in our lives and when we overcome the seemingly insurmountable, the wonder and joy that life can bring comes back to us threefold. And I have been wanting to tell you for a long time, Yvonne, your hands are SO STILL!!!.
Sooooo wonderful seeing you ride Reintje again!
And the mares running from the stable to the field was soothing to my soul.
Your videos make me feel like I’m there with them and that is unique to your style of filmmaking. Thank you for this gift to us.
Your recovery is inspiring and relieving.
I'm glad you like it! And I'm glad I still can edit the videos like before! 👍🏼
AWESOME, AWESOME, 😍 AWESOME!!! 😍
@@FriesianHorses Yvonne, I am over the moon to see your amazing recovery! I've not been able to keep up with all the videos due to my own serious health issues, so please forgive me if you've already answered this. Brings tears to my eyes to see you in the saddle again and so very HAPPY!!! That helmet is worth it's weight in gold! Congratulations, Yvonne!!! 💝💝💝
That right there is the single greatest argument for *always* wearing a helmet! Without it, things would have ended up very differently!
Just simply wonderful,Yvonne.

Today feels like old times. Yvonne is doing very well and slowly but surely will be as before...And such a beautiful lady. 😍I have said before that I felt Yvonne would be a most excellent dressage teacher. 👩🏫🐎She is patient, very clear in instructions, requires doing it the right way, and is astute to the details that make the difference. Oda would be 🧑🎓in no time. So wonderful to see Yvonne and Reintje together again. 🤗💙
Agreed. I think she's one of the best teachers I've ever come across.
it takes tremendous force to bend a stirrup.....yvonne wanting to get back on a horse again so soon says everything about her
Yvonne, it's so great to see you back in the saddle again! I never doubted one minute that this day would come. I knew you had the courage, resolve, motivation, mindset and support from family and friends that could make this happen. Lots of prayers too. You remind me of my friend who had a stroke in her 50s and the doctor told her husband to place her in a nursing home, she'd never walk again. But, I knew her personality. I told her husband to not tell her what the doctor said, and to not let him tell her. I knew she would believe the doctor because he's an expert who works at a renown teaching hospital and is top in his field, and her belief in the doctor's opinion could hinder her progress. I told her husband to just imagine her healed. She also had a community of prayers and support. Her MRI shows that the cerebellum, the part of her brain most responsible for balance is totally dead, but yet she walks just fine and has no balance issues. Her neurologist just looks at her MRI and shakes his head in disbelief. Nothing in his scientific mind can make sense of what he sees on the MRI brain scan. The brain is a miraculous organ, but a person's courage, resolve, tenacity, will, motivation and support can overcome like nothing modern medicine has to offer. You keep up the good work, because it's working!
Oh Yvonne it’s wonderful to see you on horseback again Reintje took amazing care of you. Riding and being an equestrian is such an integral part of who you are and it makes me so happy that you are slowly working towards being able to do what you love more and more so proud of you. It is ok that you aren’t editing and posting as much listen to your body taking things at your own pace and resting is important don’t ever feel like you have to do anything you’re not ready for. Teije Rein is adorable with his little hay ball on that note please everyone no comments or criticism on him being tied it’s a necessary teaching tool for all foals at Stal G so when they are older it’s already familiar and doesn’t cause stress or potential injury from the horse becoming worried or scared (safety is vital for both horses and humans)This young foals are supervised constantly and never tied longer than 5 minutes with mem being gone for a short ride in the arena. Thank you for your understanding Shannon MOD US.❤️🐎😊

Well done Yvonne! Wonderful to see you back at something you love. Time and determination are very powerful at healing. I so enjoy your videos. Live Ontario, Canada, recently attended Royal Winter Fair, Toronto. Big thing here each November, horses everywhere.
