Thanks for this detailed look! Sorry to hear about the issues you've had. We haven't had anything like this with our XMR. Our Pro HD7 did have a hose clamp issue which we caught pretty quick before getting out on the trail. Hope your dealer gets these things all sorted out for you. Also appreciate the closer look at your preferred suspension setup. Good job, dude. You deserve a million views on this vid. 👊💥🎉

Hey @dirttraxtv I’d like to point out another issue I found with my ATV that about got me into trouble, I’m curious if yours does the same thing. So while doing some trail riding, my buddies renegade went into limp mode. It took me a minute to notice, so I had to turn around on trail. The trails we ride are in the side of a mountain, so on the left side of the trail there is a bank, and on the right side there is a drop off. I decided to pull up on the bank then roll backwards to turn around. While rolling backwards in low, the 700 “blipped” the throttle causing me to just about flip over backwards. After noticing this I tried it again a few times (in a safer place) and sure enough if the machine rolls backwards in gear every time it will blip the throttle. Just wondering if yours does the same. From here on the machine will be in reverse before rolling backwards

@@ProfessorCsATVs Believe me they have qc issues. We got a few maverick r and all of them had the wires disconnected from I believe the suspension position sensor. Simple fix just plug it in but ofc shouldn’t even be coming like that in the first place.

Update: dropped off at the dealer for warranty. They replaced the intake tube but “could not find any issues with the ITC button or belt” the ITC button had randomly started working again after sitting at the dealer overnight. Brought it home a couple days later and began installing a winch (video coming soon). While installing the winch I found that the connector for the ITC button was not secured or “clicked in” completely. Shows the dealer didn’t even attempt to diagnose the issue. They said the belt noise was normal, guess we will see if anything happens in the future there. Found a few other issues while installing the winch. CVT exhaust tubes were missing several push pins. You can see that in my upcoming winch video

I recently bought a 2020 can am outlander 570 xmr with 264 miles. 4 months later, 1600 miles. We ride a lot. The only issue we've had, the fuse for speedometer/power steering wiggled loose. The noise you speak of, ours does the same thing. Doesn't affect the machine at all. We grew up on chain driven machines, so the belt is a new thing for us. Not used to the funny sounds yet. I believe Honda is the last shaft driven machine on the market. The machine we own is probably the best yet to date. As far as the missing push pins, loose clamps, maybe it is a Monday or Friday quad. Simple fixes for a great ride

@@stevedorsey6280 when your talking about a somewhat premium ATV, being built on a Monday or Friday isn’t an excuse. I would have bought used if I wanted those problems. With that being said, i had a 2017 570 XMR that I really enjoyed. Good machine. Ride quality was rough though. Keep the rear diff oil changed. If you ride in mud, keep an eye on the pinion seal. They like to let water in and kill the pinion bearing.

Sorry you have these problems. I’ve had 4 Polaris’ over the years and heard nothing but they are junk. I had great luck with all 4 of them. Recently I bought a Grizzly 700 SE XLT. It now has almost 1200 miles on it and has been flawless in operation. Fit and finish on the headlight area leaves something to be desired. When it comes to power, handling and ride it won’t touch my old Polaris’. I’ve always been concerned about drive belts as I ruined a couple (driver error). So I went with the ultramatic from Yamaha as they have a 10 year belt warranty. Not that I expect it to last that long but obviously it’s a better system than the others. Hopefully you have a good dealer as this will help take the sting out of these problems.

These machines are assembled in Juarez, Mexico 🇲🇽 . I have been seeing this with these new machines. I have seen loose hose clamps, bolts hanging out of the engine housing, and what you are describing right there. Quality control seems quite lacking at this Plant in Juarez, Mexico 🇲🇽. They had a major fire there in 2021 you can see it on RUclips. The engineering side of things maybe okay, but the assembly plant needs much better training, and better management. They simply may not care, it’s in Juarez, Mexico 🇲🇽. I have worked in manufacturing, and when you have workers who don’t care much about what they send out, quality control suffers, I have seen it with my own eyes. Don’t tend to see this with the Japanese plants here in America 🇺🇸. There are supposed to be quality inspections before they leave the plant. Seems they aren’t doing a proper job.

@@hadi111111 Can Am builds their ATVS in Mexico in Juarez, Mexico. I would also like to add the motor mounts are breaking on these machines, and some people are already replacing the tie rods more than once within the first year. I said that to correct what I said before that the engineering wasn’t to blame, but thin metal, a lack of quality welds, corners Can Am took to save costs wrongs the buyer. Rotax is okay, the engine is reliable enough, assuming it’s assembled properly. Can Am resorted to manufacturing their machines in Mexico for cheap labor by unskilled, inexperienced workers. It’s not really the laborers fault, though it is at the same time. It’s Can Am corporate, or BRP that want the profits of cheap labor. The engineering side of things again we see Can Am placed a relatively good engine with too much horsepower, and torque on the wrong kind of chassis. You can’t have all that weight, and power on a weak frame, something is going to break. You can’t have workers putting things together like these machines, that barely understand how, again it’s the management of the whole operation. They host these big unveiling presentations, and get you to focus on what they want you to pay attention to, and not what they cheat the buyer on. Now we see where they cut costs, and now people are stuck paying a lot of money for a machine that has issues that are still coming in.

Wether you call it major or not, the reality of the situation is had I not noticed the issue with the snorkel and tried to do XMR things, it would result in engine damage. We spend good money on these products and expect a quality product in return. Issues like these on a brand new machine is unacceptable in my opinion.

@@ProfessorCsATVswarranty would have covered repairs if you had broken it and I’m sure your owners manual tells you to check the snorkels condition before and after doing “xmr” things.
Spending big money that you did on something like this actually guarantees something like a squeaking belt, loose connection or missing snorkel tube is going to be at most, a minor inconvenience for you to bear.
It’s not like it will cost you anything if the engine locks up or the belt flys off.
At most you gotta make one phone call and stop by the dealer a few times.
