I just finished another several-hundred hour long play-through a couple weeks ago. With mods or without, the game still holds up, and more than that is a beautiful piece of art, heart, and an all around brilliant work. Thank you for the video!
At first I was like "why does your game look so much better than mine? I've downloaded the same mod!" then i unequipped my Nighteye Amulet and was like "ooooh"
Well done. I really liked the ending too. 😉 I have no qualms about telling people straight up that I don’t like mods. As a matter of fact, I have disdain for most mods I see because they strip the game of everything that makes Oblivion, Oblivion. I’m a purist and I play with no mods. But this? This is special. It’s incredibly faithful to the artistic vision of the base game. It really just seems to be a lighting upgrade as far as I can tell. I can’t believe I’m even typing this words, but this is something that I myself might even be interested in trying. I might be getting sick. This is quite out of character for me. Perhaps I need to go lie down. Joking aside, great video. Again, the sole video in memory that actually made me go “Wow, this actually looks great. It looks like Oblivion.”
Wow... thanks for ur deep thoughts. But this was exactly my vision. I love the fantasy colours of oblivion so i wanted to stay true to this. Great to hear it worked. Thank you for the love!
@@Imaginationcinematics Natural looking shadow progression. Fallout New Vegas had it done properly and Bethesda couldn't even do it for Skyrim. It's ridiculous. @@Imaginationcinematics xD fuck. i tweaked the fuck out of my settings to make the game run on my steam deck. even compiling certain programs to work the way i want them too. OR will never work for me. a remake honeslty. even a remaster. in which the engine is 64 bit and optimized would be great. even if it take a while to port a lot of the mods.
@ oh yeah!. ive been following those guys, skyblivion and beyond skyrim since forever. honestly if tes rebuilt can do it they can too it just takes time since every asset has to be remade. or for the expansions like beyond etc. probably voice acting plus assets. skywind redid all the npcs with unique voices xD. the dialogue bsas bust be massive

Gears 1 is dead and oblivion is still being modded and talked about to this very day. It’s even getting a fan remake and an official remaster……Oblivion replay value is endless with different builds and freedom.
This brought tears to my eyes. Thank you.
@@Room207 that was the goal. Thanks!
It always looked like this! My memory never lies!
Exactly!! I played this as a kid and kids have lots of Imagination!!! 💜
I gotta say those graphics/tuning are stunning-Excellent work& Kudos .
Thank you ❤
I'm so ready for skyblivion, beautiful montage bro
Same here. Thanks!

Definetly. Oblivion has a beautiful fantasy world. It soaks u in.
Keeping the original textures of the game was the best choice you could have make. Great video!
Thank you!
You said it perfectly.

Thats the funniest comment here thanks!
Great job man!!! Keep it up!!!

Oblivion is one of my favorite games. Great video!
Thank you! Its my all time favorit!
The lighting on the bushes popping in at 1:07 gave me a PTSD flashback to modding Skyrim
I saw it while i was editing the footage. But i didnt want to record again. I also wanted to ignore my perfectionism for atleast one time. 😁
U have some good eyes. 👀
You can modify the speed of the sun movement and time between for smoother transitions to fix what is seen at 0:32
I wonder why this was happening. In my 2020 Techdemo i dont had this problem somehow. What do u mean exactly with that?

You can configure this setting
[Display]
fSunShadowUpdateTime=8.0
fSunUpdateThreshold=0.5
The effect is a constant, slow-moving shadow with no sudden shift every hour.
Oh and this works with OR's Shadows? Thx in advance
After Nintendo announce NS2 now i believe rumor of Oblivion remake is true.
They gonna release NS2 version.
I just hope they re work the broken leveling system when they remake it
The best game with the best music by far
Always liked this game best. Skyrim was great too
More of a fan of skyrim tbh
Peak TES

Danke bro
can an rtx 4090 even handle oblivion with shadows
I have RTX 4070 and i get 30 fps on 4K

Skyblivion would do the job. Skyrim SE Engine is running rly well.

It probably will need some more memory but not much i think. Unless u also make use of ENB.
Trust me the game didnt look as good as in the video when i last downloaded Oblivion Reloaded
did u tried the latest E3 Version?

I also increased view distance (cells) for the footage. Sadly its not stable for gaming. It it costs even more fps.
unfortunately the gameplay itself doesnt hold up at all. the illusion is broken.
I think its possible if u lower ur Standards and enjoy the good quests and the believable world that feels more alive than skyrims. (AI wise)
unfortunately the game itself doesnt play that well :'D
Seen better, seen worse. Meh
Tfw gears of war 1 graphics still hold up from 2006 to this day. Oblivion was trash and always will be
Its subjective. For me its my childhood. And i dont think my childhood was "trash".
