fastest*, his forehand is pretty error prone, not effective enough to win matches consistently, that's why he never won anything significant, his biggest achievements were a final at the Australian Open and at the Olympics.

@@gherbihicham8506 So... I can see you probably never play tennis or in fact compete in a tournament cuz there are so many factors in the game, mentality (the most important), effectiveness, form, including the crowd. In fact He probably didn`t win too much, also so many other way good players compete in the circuit in his time like Federer, Nadal and others. You can`t blame on his forehand. Those players knows his potential you can search many interviews about the affraid of Gonzalez forehand. SO IN SUMMARY TITTLES DOESN`T MEAN A BAD PLAYER OR IN THIS CASE HE HAD A MAD FOREHAND.

In terms of pure speed and power, I'd say the top 5 forehands are:
    1) Del Potro
    2) Gonzalez
    3) Kyrgios
    4) Monfils
    5) Blake
However, the "best" forehands overall are:
    1) Federer
    2) Nadal
    3) Del Potro
    4) Djokovic
    5) Gonzalez
There's more to a great forehand than pace or the ability to hit huge winners every now and again. Consistency, variety, and ability to hold up under pressure is what translates into overall greatness.

An interesting bit of trivia here - had Nadal lost that match, Verdasco almost surely would have lost to Fed in the finals, and if true to course, Nadal would currently NOT have the career grand slam. So, the match where everybody thought that Verdasco had emerged as a serious GS threat had way more serious ramifications for Nadal in the end!

He hit them incredibly not when the ball was slowly put into his hitting zone as anyone of the top guys can hit a 120mph FH from a slow feed but on the run fully stretched was amazing. He has bad mobility as he got 20kg heavier over the years, bad wrists, push BH and little rewards from his height when serving but his FH and court craft was something else. He won USO at 82kg and Olympic Finals in Rio 102kg!!!!! yet beat almost everyone to be a finalist but was wrecked getting there and got revenge at Davis Cup.

From this video, the highlights for me are Kyrgios, Del Potro, Gonzales and Sock (in no particular order).

Kyogoris is one of the hardest hitters in the sport. not just forehand, but backhand and serving aswell.

Si we all agree, big guys are Delpo, Sock, Gonzalez, Verdasco, Blake.... Incredible "vintage"... We may include Shapo nowadays. Modern racquets favour on counterpounchers...

Delpotro forehand is the best but also equally lethal forehand is of Gonzalez as he is only 6.0 height

Verdasco because Sock doesn’t always have his wrist action. verdasco has better consistency and technique, plus its more fun when he hits it!
