@@jordangeorgiou2757 Repositioning the balls. Basically, unlike Pool Billiard in Snooker you are required to play specific balls. As long as red balls are there, you have to play red -> any color -> red -> any color etc. (though most pro's will only target the color giving the most points). Once all red balls are gone, you have to sink the colored balls in order of their point value. The important thing here is that the cue ball mustn't touch any ball other than the one you're going for. A snooker is a position your enemy puts you in where you have no clear shot on the ball you need to play.
@@Suthek For most common games on a pool table you have to play specific balls as well. 9 ball you have to hit the balls in numeric order (same as 10 ball.) In 8 ball you have to hit stripes or solids. The only games I can think of where you aren’t required to hit specific balls are straight pool and one pocket (I’m sure there’s more though.)
@@Frank7489 I didn't know about 9 ball, and 8 ball, yes, full or stripes to determine your balls. But you're still free to hit any ball of those you choose. In snooker, the colored balls give different point values and as I said, pro's will likely only target the color giving the most points. Only would have been better if one of the players called a foul on themselves that the referee missed. That's one thing I love about snooker, you see players doing that even at the highest levels and most competitive matches.
@@av.keshavshastry7785 In Snooker you get points (usually four, but can be more if a higher value colour was played first) when your opponent fouls. You then have the option of playing on from the position your opponent left the table in or having them retake the shot. The second option is often taken when it is very difficult for your opponent not to foul in the hopes of being awarded more foul points on their next attempt (and if it's not easy for you to play on from the position your opponent left the balls in after their foul).
