    Just fished some spillways around a canal prior to Milton. Caught a 5lb largemouth and a Snook in the same spot.

    Good video, the spillways in Burntstore have been really good to your south. Shame with all the building, spots that you could fish are all disappearing with all the development.

      What are you talking about the ones down towards Cape Coral on Burno Road? I’ve seen those big spillways but never tried them.

    I say buy that boat! Can't wait until I get one. Water all around Cape is in pretty bad shape this year fishing from Shore, that is. At least the places I've found. Still trying to find other places between here and up around you.

      I haven't tried the spillways, but a few times. I may give them a try again this week. I was told by a person who works for the city, (she was emptying the trash at the boat ramp) that you're not supposed to pull off over there. So I quit going over there. I've been here a little over a year and have looked for other places.

    I used to fish PG years ago then they posted $250 fines for fishing off seawalls in some areas. Then w the red tide it absolutely killed everything about 4 years ago.

      I’ve been doing it for 2 years and never had a problem, I live on a canal there and walk up and down the seawalls, nobody bats an eye. The city owns the walls so technically not on anyone’s property, lol.

    I am trying to get my first tarpon/snook, would you mind giving me the location of this spot?

    • @CharlotteHarborFisherman
      @CharlotteHarborFisherman  18 часов назад

      @@CohenHelder-n5z it’s a summer spot and unfortunately a house just got built on the vacant lot that was there. But try any spillway that leads to the harbor.
