- Hi guys, in this video I'll show you how to install a new sump guard on the Royal Enfield Interceptor 650cc. You'll need a few basic tools & about an hour to complete the install.
The Royal Enfield genuinenpart is a fantastic modification that really adds to the overall look of the bike, plus adds protection to the sump and oil filter.

Can you do oil and filter change without taking it off?
🇩🇴🇩🇴best regards from Dominican Republic excellent program I am your new subscriber, I have a new Royal enfield interceptor 650 mark2
Thanks for this guide. Got the part delivered today. There are only 2 washers included. In older instructions there are 4. You used the washers at the front. Does that mean the rear bolts used from below don't have washers?
Am I correct in saying that the front bracket has the same screw connection as the engine protection bar. I have both parts here and need to attach both.
Thanx from germany.
Great video Jimi, I was going to install one of these too
Thanks Rob, they are a great mod that really add to the overall look of the bike I reckon.
Thank you once my 500 ks service is done ill fit mine what torque wrench did you use (I'm researching one to buy not looking for a recommendation)
What are the other torque values for the rest of the bolts that need to go in?
Great vid, does the guard have to be removed to change the filter?
Yes
