How To Set Up A Large Breeding Colony Of Red Runner Roaches!!! (Turkestan Cockroach)

This is the second time I have had to upgrade this colony. I have had this colony for about five months now, and they have been exploding in numbers.

That is what I have found. They seem to need to be on a heat pad to breed.

Not that I am aware of. The adult males sometimes like to jump/glide out of the enclosure when I open it, but it is pretty obvious. I rarely feed my animals red runner roaches because only the bearded dragon is really interested in them. My point with that is that if a commonly accidentally dropped them into the enclosures from the tongs, they would probably easily escape the enclosures. This is a problem I sometimes have with dubia roaches. However, that is not a big issue because, as I said, I use tongs, and I rarely drop the roaches.
