DJI Pocket 3 Anamorphic lens - RED35 Review

DJI Pocket 3 has been my favourite vlogging camera since my trip to Japan. It's a great tool for content creators and anyone who wants a high quality and pocketable video recording machine to document daily life. However, it wasn't quite a cinematic video machine I wanted (yet). Luckily, I found an answer from Freewell and I think it's now a machine capable of delivering professional quality footage to supplement my projects.

The Pocket 3 is being a revelation for me.
For years, I've been perfecting a way to, when travelling, quickly "repurpose" my camera from stills to video on the fly. That means take it away from the straps, put a ND filter on the lens (when shooting outside during the day), and mounting on a gimbal.
Achieved a method that I could do it around 30-40 seconds, counting the time to take the gimbal from the backpack. Kinda ok, but still a lot of fumbling.
Until I realised that 80-90% of my movie shots when travelling were with wide focal lenghts. Enter the Pocket 3.
Now is just a jacket / cargo pocket and a flip on the screen away. Camera used for stills, and for some specialty shots, use the camera handheld with IBIS and stabilization in post.
The camera (now a Fuji X-S20) have better image? Yes. A notable one? For trained eyes, yes, but much less than expected - and in tests with people around that are not camera centric, they don't see a difference at all.
They gimbal was put for sale. And life is much simpler now.
Bonus: the internal mics on this thing are awesome - made some concert shots and they've put into shame the external mic that I use on my camera.

This is a better solution? Distorted lens flares have nothing to do with anamorphics. 1.1x? Words like cinematic and professional are very dangerous on RUclips 😂
