I find it interesting after all these years. Some Americans know what a “Ute” is but many still have no idea. El Camino. Ramchero both Utes. And it wasn’t an idea ford came up with when they released the Ranchero in 1956. They got the concept from Australia where the “Ute” (short for Coupe Utility) was being made since 1933.
@@Ecompster Well everytime I see an American tv show with an el camino in it they are always confused what to call it, so if you just called it a ute like the Aussies did then it would save all the confusion, PS, (ute is short for utility vehicle)
That's not a 62! 1961- 63 were uni-body (box built into the back of the cab). That is '64-'66 The '61 -'63 also had a straight (different) body line through the door as well as the rear wheel well body lines curved down.
So true I get sick of yelling that at the screen every time I hear them going back and forth, "is it a truck is it a car" For f@*k sake!! It's a "ute"!!
I would love to own that Orange Ford. She is just Fantabulous...
Australia here, thank you for your videos. They are just great!!
Looking at all these super cool trucks and the Ian says this is just the parking lot, let's go inside....WAIT WHAT!???...lol love it

Ive loved the peppermint 40 pickup since it debuted.
I live in south africa and miss so many episodes😢
The hot rod fenderless pickup on the ramp at your friend's place looks good.
nice work
Roadster pickup from the 62 4WD sounds like a plan.
Oh I've literally never knew Ian built one of these.

I knew a guy that had a 46 Chev panel truck. A friend had a 60 F100.
61,000 miles? It can't even be considered to be run in. Still lots of miles ahead of it yet.
I'm a 1962 model 😂
Great save, Ian 😊
what's the thing lowering everything to groound.
Raise the attitude lower the altitude 😎
When will American's realise the el camino is a "ute", not a car and definitely not a truck!
Who cares they call a semi a tractor
Australia is the only place that says ute.

The El Camino is not a car or a truck, it's a ute.
Yes we must educate them about that 🤔🤔🤔
