      @@user-dk9dx3xb2t Not 99% but an overwhelming majority did, to understand this you have to understand the unification of Germany, and the consequences feelings and fears after WW1 in Austria, but by treaty they were forbidden from uniting with Germany, and Austria being a German state had no reason for existing after the empire was lost, the only reason they had not joined in the German unification was because they wanted to be the leading faction in a united Germany, Prussia won the political battle, but the Austro-Hungarian empire continued on, with the Habsburg state being an empire or dual monarchy no longer, they were just a German land with limited means, and post ww1 it was very rough in Austria 100k or so jobless in Vienna alone.
      So the sentiment to join with Germany was significant at the time under the circumstances, where in the period prior it had been strongest post WW1 and weakened with time, only to make a strong resurgence in the times leading up to WW2.

During this time, Hitler repeatedly makes overtures to England for a peaceful settlement before war escalates. Hitler only gets scorned and mocked by the British. Hitler invades and defeats France and her willful allies, chases and allows the defeated British army to retreat to the Island, and repeatedly sues for peace. Hitler gets scorned and mocked again and again. Molotov, Russian Foreign Secretary visits Hitler in Berlin in November 1940, demanding the recognition of status quo. Hitler invades Russia next year, and Allies are on the side of aggressor Russia. Germans then prove to the world that Russians murdered more than 20,000 Polish officers with a shot in the head. "New York Times" claims that Germans actually murdered those officers and more adding up to 50,000. Half the world gangs up and defeats Germany. Russia keeps Poland and half of Europa with the help of the Allies for the next 40 years. Russia admits the murder of said Polish officers. Facts are facts. Does all of this make sense? Austria is a German country like Bavaria, Prussia, Saxony, Brandenburg and had competed with Prussia for the dominance over other smaller German countries. Taking into a consideration that even after had lost that competition Austria maintained its independence from Prussia rule and become a strong country on its own also as Empire but still a German country. It was a natural for Austria to be finally united with the rest of Germany from the Austrian point of view as most of Austrian stopped believing in their monarchy and system and saw Hitler as a new leader who can refresh an old idea of the German nationalism and unity. The Habsburgs were about German nationalism but they failed.

    Nation building. Especially after the end of the first world war and the dissolution of the Austro-Hungarian Empire, most austrians considered themselves as "Ostdeutschen", or inhabitants of a natural province of greater Germany. Same language, same heritage, same race, same christian principles. And they felt that it was time to unite politically with Germany. But neither France nor Britain nor the US, champions of democracy and free will of the people, would absolutely not allow this. It was expressly prohibited that that any public referendum take place regarding the issue of reintegrating to Germany. So after witnessing the economic and social successes of the Third Reich, it was only natural that this feeling had increased among the population at large, to unify some way with Germany. Not so for the masonic politicians. The newsreel can only give testimony to this general sentiment, despite what the commentator has to say about. He is only following the systematic anti German propaganda prevalent at the time, and which has not abated with time.
    So to make a long story short, before the defeat of Germany, the allies again would not allow a Greater Germany. So they planned in advance to give away entire German provinces to her neighbors: Poland, France, Checoslavakia, and Russia, and most definitely separate the "Ost Mark" or Austria. In case only few people have read or heard about it, the following descripción by wikipedia can answer most if no all questions relating to the formation of modern day Austria: "... nation-building has come to be used in a completely different context, with reference to what has been succinctly described by its proponents as "the use of armed force in the aftermath of a conflict to underpin an enduring transition to democracy". In this sense nation-building, better referred to as state-building, describes deliberate efforts by a foreign power to construct or install the institutions of a national government, according to a model that may be more familiar to the foreign power but is often considered foreign and even destabilizing. In this sense, state-building is typically characterized by massive investment, military occupation, transitional government, and the use of propaganda to communicate governmental policy." Wikipedia doesn't mention or hint to Austria or any other country. But all you have to do is connect the dots. That is, gradually over the decades, it has been the commitment of the US government to instill an anti-german sentiment in the Austrian population, and to regard themselves as strictly an "independent" Nation. And for that matter the US from the beginning took over the educational systems in Germany and Austria, that brands a criminals any and all national socialists, all soldiers participating in the war, any and all civilians who worked for the government and assisted in the war effort. this is official history and doctrine. If you question this it you are branded a "neo nazi", an enemy of the people and of the State. You will lose your job and be ostracized. And especially in the case of Austria, to distrust anything German and never ever to think about any reunification or the sorts. If you make any public comment against this official brainwashing you may likely be accused of "intent of reviving national socialism" with a prison sentence of up to 10 years, first offense, and life imprisonment second offense. All this has been imposed on the Germans and "Ost Deutschen" or Austrians by the US government. If anybody can prove me wrong, I'd like to hear about it and your sources. I have mine. So we can take it from there.

      "Brainwashing"
      Oh sorry that people don't want to support a genocidal idealogy, which, if it ever comes to power again, would start another world war.
      Neither austria, nor germany branded everyone as a criminal.
      In neither austria, nor germany can you get the life sentence for being a Neo-Nazi.
      "If you question it" is the wrong to use here.
      You won't get ostracized for being a Neo-Nazi. It's not likely that you'll loose your job for being a Neo-Nazi.

      @luisgonzagaosollo7970 2 года назад +1

      Good that you mention it. In the US, which has deliberately targeted civilians for annihilation as a means of compelling "unconditional surrender, or genocide if you prefer, has the support of practically all their population. I'm certain that it means nothing to you the firebombing of Dresden, an open city, hardly any air defense, full of wounded and refugees fleeing the heroic red army of rapists, was burnt almost to ashes along with hundreds of thousands of women, elderly and children, or the firebombing of Tokyo, where most houses and building were made of wood, or Nagasaki, Hiroshima, and hundreds of other cities in Germany and Japan, in order to bring down their morale. Or the bombing of allied cities in France and Holland in order to chase the Germans out. Not to mention the carpet bombing of North Korean cities, North Vietnamese cities and towns, the "shock and awe" bombing of Bagdad and other cities of Iraq. I'm sure I haven't cited all the mass destruction and crimes committed by the US and backed by the people. I could go on and on and on. But, sorry, I deviated. Besides, you haven't cited your sources. And just for the record, if you go to Germany I don't recommend you make a fascist salute in public, even if it's just for fun or to parody Germans of around 70 years ago. You will be chased and fined by the police. First offense. Second offense, well it's your guess.

      @@luisgonzagaosollo7970 You can not compare bombing cities to the crimes the axis have committed.
      For example the Holocaust committed by Nazi Germany or the Nanking massacre committed by Imperial Japan were just so much worse than anything the allies have done.
      And it seems like you do not understand what genocide means. Genocide is the deliberate killing of a large number of people from a particular nation or ethnic group with the aim of destroying that nation or group.

    • @luisgonzagaosollo7970
      @luisgonzagaosollo7970 2 года назад

      Exactly. So according to your understanding, genocide is committed by who kills more millions. Firebombing of German and Japanese cities is perfectly documented, terror bombing for the purposes of bringing down the morale of the enemy was and is illegal. And is still being committed by the US and allies where ever they want to stick their noses. On the other hand, there is no documented evidence of so called "holocaust". Please show us at least ONE picture of a pile of dead bodies in or from Auschwitz. Pictures of piles of dead bodies in Bergen Belsen and other camps, caused by infectious disease, after the war, of course does not represent any gassing of the sorts. There is no a single autopsy that has ever confirmed that. READ and check your sources. I'm sorry but that statement is really stupid. The Nazis were, in fact, fascists.

    LMAO…hardly an invasion. That’s like Hugh Hefner inviting me to the Playboy Mansion and I “invade” it by taking him up on his invitation. 😂😂😂😂😂

    American unification meant the death of many nations, so the Usa should be split according to the logic of this films narrative.

    I once met an elderly German man who told me that he was a 19-year old soldier in the Wehrmacht who marched into Austria to save it from the Communists. That's what the young men were told. They were met by enthusiastic Austrians who threw flowers to the troops and welcomed them as brothers. When Hitler addressed the crowds in front of the Hofburg Palace over a million Viennese turned out to welcome him. Of course, when. the old gentleman visited Austria in the 1960's, nobody there remembered any of the welcoming events. These were not "storm troopers" invading, but young soldiers who were conned by their leaders.

    Hilarious propaganda!
    Perhaps the most laughable part being the supposed unwavering support for Czechoslovakia. We all know how that turned out, with the allies practically handing the country over to Germany on a platter.
