Hello Arlee! I had marionettes (Pelham) when I was a kid. I'm going to try and make a few out of clay and cardboard and fishing line. Your RUclips channel is a great find - everything there to feast on! Is there a Pinocchio that can walk off the stage after his strings are cut? A few motors and a tiny computer could move it most likely. Are you in the US? I'm in the UK. Thanks!!

Thanks for watching! Look up Philippe Genty (puppeteer) Taken from Paul Daniels Magic Show. It is a marionette piece where the puppet has black strings that can't be seen and very visible white strings which are dramatically cut. It gives the effect of the puppet cutting its own stings and moving independently. I'm in the USA.

*When you speed the video you lose technique, control, art. Obviously less time to upload but useless teaching effort. Out here we do appreciate that you want to share your knowledge . . .however.*

You are right. I will do a tutorial on this subject soon.

fortunately, on RUclips, i was able to touch the screen, tap the gear, and set the speed to 50% and watch it slower for the parts I wanted to see slower.
