There are very few people who are naturally gifted at a skill who can also teach it well. The reason is that because the skill comes to them naturally they have no idea how to explain what they're doing to someone else. The best teachers are usually people who don't have natural skill, but who persevered long enough to become experts anyway. I don't know which category Kevin falls into, but he's clearly both an expert and a good teacher.
