- Hey Booktube, working on my home library. This is part 2 of me reorganizing my bookshelves (part 1: • Reorganizing My Booksh... ). This whole process has been a bit of mess but we made it in the end. I still need to add some finishing touches but it looks much better and much fuller. Now I just need to fill all the shelves! I had to pause so many time to look up books that I thought would be interesting. I would love it if you did a series showcasing one shelf each time and talking about the books on it. Read, not read, liked, not liked, etc.

Looks great, Emily! 😍If you want, you can always put some books with the front facing out on the shelves with empty spaces. Or spaced out in a row and half facing outwards.
Emily, seriously, take this tip! To make your empty shelves look fuller, try arranging some books front-facing, just like this suggestion says. It’ll totally level up the vibe 🤓🤓

Your last video inspired me to do this to my shelves too! Thankfully I still have space to move things around (and keep series together) but omg those short shelves were TESTING my patience trying to fit books in there 😂

Just a thought if you wanted to stick with the three frames you have, with four cats. If there are any two cats particularly friendly towards each other, I think having one of the photos showing a pair of cuddlers, along with two individual portraits makes for a display at least as interesting as four individuals.
Now you know exactly how much space you have for new books!

After doing my own bookshelf reorganisation today, this was a really nice way to decompress. The shelves look great. If you don't find another picture frame, you could also try doing one featuring 2 cats like couple or family portraits

@@BookswithEmilyFox yes, for now. This shelving unit is weirdly constructed, so every three weeks or so, I've got to do it all over again. Actually I like doing it over and over again because it keeps it looking fresh.

They're still organized by genre and mostly by author. I have a good memory too so it shouldn't be too hard!

This is evidently the wrong channel. Still, you mentioned that you had stopped your beauty channel because you received a lot a hateful messages following your surgery; and, have contemplated restarting it. However you choose to move forward, remember that the most self centred people will tell you how to be civilised and caring towards others; the people who hate themselves the most will tell you weather or not they approve of your appearance, if they think you too fat, too slim... People, will tell you how to dress, what to wear, how to do your hair, if they think you are too short, too tall, too...My point is: make a decision based on what you enjoyed, and, what makes you happy. The opinions of others are like the wind, it never ceases. You will find that people who are pleased with themselves and their lives do not spend their time obsessing about others and putting effort into putting them down. Grossly unhappy people unfortunately do. Offer them compassion and move on...Best of luck whatever your choice.
I didn't stop the beauty channel due to hateful comments. I stopped because I've been dealing with a lot of health issues and couldn't do both. I just received a diagnosis which I'm planning on talking about in my next vlog. I don't know when/if I'll feel better enough to go back to it.
