Finally another person who has read The Keeper of Lost Things!!! Why is no one talking about this book or Ruth Hogan?! I listened to the audiobook and immediately listened to the rest of her novels and they were all SO GOOD. So sweet, so cozy, so thought provoking.
I am not a big reader at all, but I read smoke gets in your eyes a while ago when you recommended it in the past and I loved it. I’ve never read a book so fast. This made me want to read the trauma cleaner, I’m off to buy it 😂🖤 thank you!
I just bought the first book in the Jennifer Saint series, haven’t started it yet but I’m excited for it. I feel like I don’t read as much as I used too and I’m trying to make an effort to read more. And be careful hoarding books! I’m 45 and have 5 bookcases in my house! Which I love but I have to read on Kindle now because I do not have room for anymore books! :) ❤️
I love Richard Osmans Thursday murder club series too!. ive literally just finished his latest book called We Solve Murders, its a new series. i can recommend it 👌 you will enjoy it too 😊
Some of the things you said about Emily’s book reminded me a lot of Paris Hilton’s memoir. She goes off on some ADHD tangents at times (nothing I’m not used to with my bf lol) but I really enjoyed her writing style and learning what it was like for her growing up the way she did. It was so interesting, heartbreaking, but also funny. If you want a Norse mythology recommendation, The Witch’s Heart by Genevieve Gornichec. It’s the story of the witch Angrboda, her relationship with Loki, and raising her children. I knew I liked it, but I was thinking about that book for a few days after I finished it because it was that good. Also Circe I’m pretty sure is pronounced like sear-see or maybe sir-see. I’ve heard it both ways and am too lazy to look it up, but it’s one of those lol
I’m the same with autobiographies, I love them so much! I just finished reading Yours Cruelly, Elvira by Cassandra Peterson and I was obsessed. She’s lived so many lives & at such a young age too.
So so glad someone else wasn’t a fan of the Sarah Maas books. I give it a whirl but I just couldn’t get into it. Will deffo look into these books they sound right up my street!
