At age 40, both knees started hurting, when I went to the doctors for my annual physical, I had knee ex rays done, I was sent to an orthopedic doctor, he looked at the ex rays and did an MRI, it was determined that I had the beginning of osteoarthritis in both knees, I had to retire a age 56, due to not being able to stand or walk , no more than five minutes
I'm really sorry to hear about your struggles with osteoarthritis, but it's great that you were able to get the diagnosis and seek medical help early on. It must have been tough to retire so early due to the pain. Have you found any treatments or therapies that have helped you manage the symptoms?
@ I went to physical therapy, I was hooked up to a tens machine and asked the therapist about getting a small pocket size tens machine that I saw on HSN, she looked on HSN website and said yes buy it and when it comes bring it in and I will show where to put the pads for most help possible, I use it mostly in the winter,
That what I was thinking too. Companies always focus on the elderly. Another thing that is annoying is in their advertising campaigns everyone is white. I have never seen a person of color.
😂 You’re not wrong-it does have a bit of a Hannibal Lecter vibe! As for the sanitary part, it’s definitely something worth considering. What features would you prioritize in a toilet chair to make it more practical and hygienic?
I thought of Hannibal Lecter as soon as I saw that chair. "Tell me his name, Dr. Lecter" (Julianne Moore). That is a sick and scary movie. On a serious note, I have antislip socks and they work well. I would like to try the reading lights, and eventually the medication box with alarm.
@@gardeniagirl1374 😂 The Hannibal Lecter reference is spot on-such a chilling movie! 🧦 Antislip socks are a game-changer, aren’t they? The reading lights are super handy too, especially for late-night reading. The medication box with an alarm sounds like a great way to stay on track. I’ve also included the product links in the description if you want to check them out.
