@ I’ve seen this happen before, but it’s very rare and precise to do. I think it has to do with how you trick off of the glider. It’s a weird, but cool glitch.
Yeah I've figured out what was causing it, which was the fact that I put the trickable tag on the glider collision despite the glider collision already having a trickable property specifically for its animations.
@@thecheezyfox8238 Ah, I see. Almost every glider in the vanilla version of Mario Kart 8 Deluxe will do that. If I do it, it’s normally on complete accident, because like someone said, “it’s a frame perfect trick”. It is very interesting how that works, though.
It's the tour model but edited with some decorations, like more crates, volcanoes behind the fortress, and the center mast having sails instead of propellers. I didn't really focus on the textures for this, but I did use some from Bowser's Castle like the bricks, but everything else is taken from bcp tracks.
They're a 2nd torch object from WiiU Bowser Castle, just flipped upside down with an invisible fireball object from snes BC3 for the hurtbox. The burner itself is a remodeled pipe object from sweet sweet canyon.
I knew I'd get a critique like this sometime. The lava is mainly there to prevent you from being able to see that the fortress model eventually just stops, i could extend it pretty far down but it would look very awkward like that. I also wanted to avoid covering it up with modeled clouds since that would inflate the tri count by a lot. So i just decided to play into the lava theming. I also tried making the sky more reminiscent of the mk7 version by using a skybox from bowser's fury rather than using the skybox from mario kart tour.
This is 8 deluxe. If you meant if I was going to backport it to 8 Wii U, I'm not going to. There's too many assets I used from the Booster Course Pass that would basically make all the obstacles not possible in Wii U
Nice to see the corridor before the cannon without the Tick Tock Clock hands pasted in, to replace the fire lol

The music isnt finished yet, there's no link of the music anywhere.
Does it lag on Console?
Hasnt been tested on console yet, but the lag in the video is due to the recording software I use.
