Soon as I saw Lovecraft in the title, i sed to myself, ‘Self!,’ and then I checked to make sure it was myself to whom I spoke, and glad I was to see it was, indeed, myself, and I knew, because I was wearing my underwear, ‘Self, this video has Lovecraft in the title... and sure as this here is my underwear, there better be a Simon in it.... no, you silly Self, not a Simon in my underwear, but in this video!’

You'd get more leverage using the other end!
You use the curvy end to pry open something and keep it that way as long as the crowbar is left there like with elevator doors if their motors stuck in closing mode and the straight part is to pry open something heavier that doesnt close on its own like containers, hatches, regural doors, ect.
@@Kalledussin You would get basically the same amount of leverage. Leverage comes from the length. The point of the hook is to allow create a gap by using the leverage to force the hook in. Also, if you just stuck the flat end in, what happens is that the end of the crowbar you are holding pushes against the outside of the right hand door, the force is going forward away from you....while on the other side of the door, the pointy end of the crowbar is pushing backwards at the left hand door. What you end up doing is expending a load of energy trying to twist the door out of the frame...rather than open it.
The pointy end is for prying something apart, like two pieces of timber that are nailed together. The curved it is for opening or lifting stuff.
Please make an official Riddle Bros notebook! It could have common useful info for in-game riddles like morse code, a list of prime numbers, etc., and a bunch of pages for taking notes.

bhglghb - Simon, and to a lesser extent Tom, is the king of complaining about story and then ignoring all of it. This is just in general not specifically this episode.

Orochi is a giant Snake Hydra in Japanese mythology, a nice choice for a space corporation... :)
I get that Tom doesn’t like reading anything longer than two sentences, but it’s a little (A.K.A. A lot) frustrating when he completely and blatantly skips over notes. It’s not just annoying to viewers like me, it’s honestly a pretty shitty way to treat the people who wrote for this game and the work they put into it. Tom, you’re awesome and I love you, which is why I watch you religiously, but do us a favor and just bite the bullet and read it. Or, if you’re just that adamant about not doing it, at least interact with the notes and give it a second or two before putting them down, so we can pause and read it for ourselves. Better yet, just get Simon to read them all in one of his voices while you just stare creepily into the camera. That always gets my juices flowing. 😉

I feel like the trouble with these walking sim horror games, is if you don't read any of the in game text, in letters, emails, etc etc...you're skipping what little plot there actually is in these things.
