It was meditative. I cud just watch ranveer cook like this. On a personal level. I miss having ghee. I had to reduce it due to health reasons. Growing up i wud consume a lot of ghee.

Ranveer Sir and mine eternal love for Khichdi..Probably the eternal dish of India after Puris (No.1) and Kheer (Payesh, Payesa, Payesam)..Known as Khichdi in Northern India, Khichuri in Bengal and Pongal in Southern India..there are other variants of it in the Mysuru Style (Bisi Bele Bhaath, etc.)..Every disrict in Tamil Nadu have their own style of Pongal (and sometimes more than 1).. Had a gala time during my post grad days in Chennai when they had a Pongal festival in the mess trying out various types of Pongals from various districts of TN..
We eat dal khichdi with kumro full bhaja and kumro sabji (Pumpkin) in Bengal. My fav ❤ We offer these dishes to god & goddess also then have it as prasad.
As usual your presentation is awesome. But being a Bengali, i have seen my thakuma cooking misti kumror torkari or "kumror chokka" with a little oil and less spices. But sprinkles of coconut adds outstanding finish... i think Bengali people may relate.
