- Today we take a look at the brand new 2019 Chevrolet Camaro! Full walk around a review of the all new Camaro! This is the newest generation of the Chevy Camaro and is a nice daily drivable 2 door sportscar! The 1LT with RS package is a nice trim level with many features and a sporty design. The 2019 Camaro looks great and has an aggressive front end design. It really is a car you need to see in person to appreciate. The rear end is very bold and has a modern look especially with the three dimensional tail lights. I also like how the 2019 tail lights are not red, the clear lens looks great!
The white exterior paint looked awesome and really shows off the brand new 2019 design! It'll be great to check out the 2019 SS Camaro to see the unique design for the V8. Overall I think the 2019 Chevrolet Camaro is a nice car with a lot to offer. It was comfortable, roomy, powerful and looks great! The interior of the 2019 Camaro was well laid out with minimal buttons with a clean look and feel.
Test driving the 2019 Camaro, the car drove great and has plenty of power. You can also opt for the SS trim level with a massive V8 engine for even more performance and power.The 2019 V6 Camaro had a good exhaust sound to it, and sounded great going through the gears. 6 speed automatic transmission was pretty responsive. There was a small delay from hitting the paddle to when the gear actually changed. I would stick with the 6 speed manual if you want more performance and are going with the V6 engine. I'm sure the 10 speed automatic is more performance oriented in the V8.
There are a ton of engine options, trim levels and packages to really pick out the 2019 Camaro that is right for you!

I can tell you people are not car guys.
At the drag strip every second matters, because you get one shot to prove yourself and your car.
Sure go ahead get V6 Camaro it's your money but remember this if you show up at that drag strip with your V6 and you're going up against monstrous V8 High Performance cars you're going to get smoked, not to mention people will make fun of you for getting a V6.
The only issue people have with people getting V6 cars is that those People with the V6 think they can hang with the big V8 High Performance cars that they can't even keep up with.
Those $8,000 dollars that you're complaining about are worth it for getting the V8 why? Because there is alot you can do with a V8 to modify it and make it go way faster from a 0-60mph time and more horsepower than what you get from factory.
But if you don't care about any of that then sure get a nice daily driving V6 car with adequate horsepower and a sporty feeling to it, while us real car guys are always after more horsepower with those real American V8 Muscle cars wiping out the competition and moving up in the world.

The v6 is cheaper in every measure than the v8. It's really the best option for those who want a fast cool looking car. But still get very decent gas milage and normal maintenance cost. The tires are still pricy,but last twice as long as the v8, because they are the same size front and back. The v8 tire life is cut in half, 2k for tires every 15k miles is not practical for most people to afford. Even with high milage tires at best 35k miles on them. Not good for a every day driver vehicle. The v6 uses regular gas vs premium. It's the more practical price wise for a every day driver camaro in terms of maintenance cost,gas and insurance. It's also arguably the better looking car. Specially on the refresh.Test driving both. The v8 is torqier pulls harder, louder, but the v6 is more nimble because of its light weight. It's the more flingable car around sharp corners. It's very fun to drive.

@@MrK3ric there is also the LT1 option now, v6 looks,v6 tires, but it has the v8 engine under the hood. Also good price point for a v8. Still pricier for oil changes and gas though.

For people saying the ss or v8 is the only one worth buying. I think your wrong. The v6 and even the v4 turbo are still very fun and fast cars. The v6 still has 335 hp and does 60 in 5 seconds. It's still as quick as a 4th gen ss stock. That's not a slow car by any means. It also sounds great for a v6. For those of us who simply cant afford the maintenance ,tires,gas,insurance for the v8, the v6 is still a great muscle car.
James Loehr Agreed, unlike the 5 gen, the new Camaro is all about lightweights alpha platform and handling. You can still get some fun with around 300 horses.

V6 and the v4 actually handle better and turn more quickly than the v8 does. Weight wise the v6 is actually the most balanced. Beside with some modification there are people getting well over 500 hp with the lighter v6. That makes for one very fun and crazy fast car.

Idk most girls I know hate the camaro. Because it has no storage a small trunk,bad blind spots. Small trunk. Terrible back seat. Even when compared to the mustang which had more trunk,more storage,better visibility. Women like practical cars.

I bought the 2.0 turbo red hot I love my car people scoff at a 4 banger but it has some quick acceleration. Not to mention the red hot color on black rims looks amazing. Great on fuel. Love love my car !!

I think this is great that they came out with these. It makes a great daily driving car to save money on fuel. Hell I'm thinking of getting one these soon. Gonna wait a few more years though to see how they run and if any problems to be concerned with and so on. It is always best to wait before getting something that is very new.

This car could easily have a Nissan or Mazda badge and get away with it. Chevy has a tight body, light weight, great breaks, wheels and torquey engine. Just a great package to have fun in. I would trade my 15 wrx immediately if I could.

I really like the car. It's in my driveway, so I know that you can't have anyone in the back seat, that has legs, if you want to put anyone in the driver's seat, that isn't a little person. I'm 5'11" and I cannot get my fingers between the driver's seat and the back seat.

V8 only guy here that grew up in the 80’s. Make my new Camaro the I4 turbo. At just under 3400lbs curb weight and great handling is so awesome! Love it!
I purchased 2019 rs 2lt v6 with the 8speed automatic i traded my 2015 1lt the dealer made me a offer i couldnt refuse same monthly payment with no money down my 2019 is fully loaded with climate control and cooled and heated leather seats for the money chevy gives alot i really dont care what chevy haters think i love my car and thats all that matters if you like it go get it whether its a camaro mustang or charger if thats your flavor get and to hell with what people say

Just a PSA the way you described the back seat was a little misleading, yes you were good at describing the head room but the leg room is also useless, you had the seat in the most forward position when you were sitting back there....and you cant fit in that front seat with it adjusted in that way....back seat leg room is also horrendous as is the head room for anybody taller than 5'9"
Same thing with the visibility... out of the rear and corner blindspots.. Try making a left crossing a two lane highway and seeing oncoming traffic traveling in your desired direction... you wont see past that C pillar and sloping roofline. Also, I don't know how tall he is to comment on the rear seats but I owned a 17 and can tell you unless your passenger is 5ft 5 inch or less with proportionate limbs they aren't going to be able to sit in that back seat on more than an emergency quick trip. Love the design of this car but it's the worst car I've even owned for visibility.
I love the exterior but for me the interior is what I really love. And that display just doesn’t do it for me.

I dig my 2019 2Lt Rs Camaro. White with the black stripes sitting on some black wheels outlined with the red. For a V6 this thing has some get up and go. The auto start, heated leather seats, and Bose audio system is a plus

I've checked out all 3 of the muscle coupes. Challenger is the most convenient in its leg room, head room and trunk space. Mustang is totally reasonable. Camaro has the smallest trunk opening and headroom in the rear is not enough for me (at 5' 7 .5") . I love the look of the 2019 camaro all except for the ss front end. The challenger also costs a bit less for similar power and much better useability. The Mustang has the best exhaust note in the GT trim.
Styling and visibility, I would opt for a facelift 5th gen camaro(2014-2015).
You forget the Charger is a four door muscle car
The non v8 car I really wanted at the lot idky I end up walking off that lot with the 5.7 challenger oh well I'm not as satisfied as I thought

This reminds me a lot about the 5 gen. Both the bigger black grill in the front and the 4 circle taillight reminds me something from the last gen.
There's actually 2 speedometer types for the non-v8 Camaros for 2016-2019 models. The one featured in this video and another one with a bigger digital display similar to the one in the SS. I have the latter and it looks amazing.

Bought one just like this, a leftover 2019 1LT RS. I agree with all of James Loehr's comments, especially about the V6 being a better deal than the V8. Beyond that I actually would have preferred the I-4...around town it is simply more nimble and fun to drive. No, it doesn't sound cool and it does take premium fuel. Not sure why some people focus on sound more than performance but to each his own. I test drove a manual and whoa...Chevy hasn't improved their ginormous awkward clutch in 40+ years. Dealer said it's because of the paddle shifters...unnecessary to devote resources...makes sense. The car is stunning. Considering adding black rally stripes. Can't get them from the dealer aftermarket, they only come from the factory now, so I'll have to get knock offs somewhere.

Always wanted to own a Camaro, now I might finally get my chance. I now own a fully loaded 2017 Malibu premier with every option that you can get on this car. Sticker was $36,300 I now own $20,000 hoping to be on the positive side when I trade it in, mileage is low at 16,000. Looking at the RS lt1 with the technology package. I believe the sticker is $32,000, hoping with rebates I can get it for $28 or $29,000. Riverside Blue
I bought a v6 Camaro and plan on doing a single turbo setup, it’s all about preference. Don’t get me wrong v8s are amazing and great, if I had the time to get another camaro it would be a v8, but the v6 is completely fine and reasonable. Don’t be ashamed of buying a v6. If you want to make it Fast, you can. Don’t listen to mfs trying to tell you what to and not to do to your car. It’s not theirs, it’s yours, do what ever you want and get whatever you want
I agree with that for sure, just a lot of people like the V8 noise and you can’t get that in a V6 no matter how you mod it. Just depends on what the buyer wants.

Do you have the active exhaust? That's an option I believe, so you may not have that.

The used Corvette will not depreciate as fast as a new Camaro but the Camaro will be under warranty and much more reliable. A 9 year old car, even with low miles, requires attention that a new car doesn't. A daily gets me to work and back without complaint thru rain and shine. A used vette is something you keep clean and covered, taking it out on weekends and dates.

I don’t know what any of these idiots are talking about. That 335hp V6 in the 2019-2020 model Camaro’s is a amazing engine for a V6. Sounds more like a V8 and was shocked the performance when I rented one for a week. It’s FAST. So these armature reviewers who act like it’s “alright” either have it in Grandma mode or turtle mode. Even in touring it responds so fast. 0-60 my guess in sport mode is 4.9 if launched correct.

The WHOLE point of a muscle car is that it is supposed to be cheap, affordable, and fast enough to have fun. Remember when muscle cars used to be affordable for almost everyone back in the 70's? Yeah, exactly.
As new cars come out each year, the price is increasing, but that also goes with inflation. They were cheap in the 70's but people also made much less. It's all relative to the decade, they sound affordable now because people make more than they did in the 70's.
The interior looks good. If only the media console bezel isn't that big, it would look cleaner on the dash.

I think they could've made the shifter paddles on silver or polished silver as well, just so that it adds some accents to the steering wheel. I don't like that it all looks like one big hunk of plastic. Really nice though, think I might go with this for my new vehicle 👍
If I were to get a v6 I would get a base model with 1le package. It practically cost the same as the Rs package, but you get a better looking and better handling vehicle.

That would vary from person to person depending on flexibility and preference. She would have to try it out with you to see if she needed help or not. The Camaro is a low car, so it's not for everyone.

Yeah that shouldn't be an issue. We've done 700 miles trips in one day in cars way more aggressive than this. Really just depends on the driver and how they do road tripping
