Nova Heart, woven into the soundtrack of my life. 13 years old in 1982, I was.
Still sound great❤ 1982 when this song came out, I was 15. Good memories.
I’ve been dancing to this song in my hoose for 30 years
You and me both!
Canadian treasure!!!!! Man I hope they come to Edmonton soon.......
The Spoons are a National Treasure and international magic waiting to be discovered
Classic Canadian band... Still got it! ;)
They even have the luminous egg from the original video.
Omg I didn’t even realize until you pointed it out! YEEEESSS
Wow, this is tight. Love the filter sweeps on the synth.
had such a crush on Sandy in the 80's hot badass bassplayer crazy for her vocals too
This The Greatest for all ages!!
Hotest shit u ever heard
Spoons the greatest New Wave band on Earth!! ❤ #Facts 💯
If it ain't got a Roland analog filter, it don't belong in this song. Lookin' at you, Korg Kronos.
Love ya, Spoons.
2 cool!
Thank you for this moment. :>
just saw Gord and Sandy at Massey theatre oct. 13 . awesome show . they still rock !
"We're a Canadian band from the 80's" lol.... so typically understated humbly Canadian of you.
As a young teen in 82...I loved your new wave posturing and sound! I was into and still am a metal/progressive rock guy, but I love all music and you guys still sound awesome! Hard to believe it's 38 years later, eh?
We were spoiled by so many greatest bands and musicians
Fantastic. Takes me back to my first year of university in 1983-84.
Yes sir Loved spoons all these Years ,, Burlington Boy here 2 Love your Music Cheers
In the pandemic time we live today, this performance was ahead of its time. Spread the news so other bands can do the same. Brilliant.
Timeless!!!!made me smile during pandemic! Cheers from Uxbridge.
I'll be damn. I gave a thumb's-up, not too long after the video and, forgot to leave a comment...Here it goes. Thank you very much for the good memories. I blew one of my speakers in the old 70 Skylark, while listening to this song, or was it Tell no lies ? I still have the vinyl, somewhere and, the old Buick is still here, in pitiful shape, with a blown 6x9 speaker. It's one of things, your mind just can't let go. Thank you again. Merçi beaucoup.
Very well-done Boys & Girl! My all-time favourite 80s tune from any Nation. The Burlington Bunch. $15 to hear Spoons "live" virtually (in my Ottawa apartment) from Oakville (March 5th. 2021.) I 'll bite. More affordable and satisfying that a Medium Canadian Bacon Pizza.
LOL
Hells yeah!!
40 years ago .... one brief magic moment, never to be replicated.
Except in our memory ...
So glad Gord, Sandy and the band still play together. Fond memories on 2 concerts in Montreal in 1982. My favorite band at the time..
It’s great to hear you I’ve been a fan Many years and come out to many shows. My favourite was Ontario Place I think you guys lived it too I remember chatting to a Gord after a show and a bar on the Danforth many great memories you have
Given me Spoons. Wow 40years. You all sound great and you give a nice fresh feel to
The older songs and have some innovative new ones. Like the tribute to health workers. Thank you. I am a health care worker. I’m sure I’ll be listening to the Spoons for the next 40 years. Lisa in Toronto

Still looking and sounding fantastic.
Listening to this band for 40 years, fortunate to see them play live, thanks for the great music and memories.
I'd love to know how this song was written, it's such a masterpiece.
Love you guys as much as I did back in the 80’s. This takes me back to a magical time in my life❤️
Arias & Symphonies was you best album by far in my view. Saw you perform this in Winnipeg in my senior year, 1983 I think. It was winter but I can’t remember if it was before or after New Years.
PS. Was in love with Sandy then and still am now! ;-)
:)❤️❤️❤️ love from México ❤️
Sounding fabulous and…Keepin’ it real in the kitchen. Respect.
Hello from Mont-Joli ( Québec ) . This song is going to " Hall of fame ". Great memories.
So awesome guys. I was 16 when you came to Winnipeg. Good memories.
So fucking good my god!!
Wow. Excellent. Can’t believe you guys put that together in somebody’s house. All time classic song. Will live forever.
Making Canada great again! Cheers from St. Catharines!
That was a clever travelling camera idea. You need to know I tend to reach for my volume more than once to keep turning it up when I hear Nova Heart. This was no exception.
fantastic idea! sounds great too.
i had your music in the 80s and stumble across it few days ago forgot how good it is have to go out and get it again :)
Re-create the video frame for frame! We want to see Sandy in the ballet shoes again!
Wonderful Innovative way to do concerts!
Wow is all I can say .AWESOME
love it! Thanks for doing this. My favourite new romantic song from the 80s. You guys sound great
You made my day. I remember very well that album. Melody and playing is still today en-vogue.
Always loved these songs. It was so nice to see these new versions done today. You still have the sound I loved when I was young. Great to see your still rocking and representing Canada. Keep up the great work!!!
Love it!❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
Great video. Alexis walking in her Dad's foot steps !
This sounds great!
Great music!
My god this really made my night. This sounds absolutely magical. I really love this. Beautiful end to my day. My favorite version. Love you guys.
Where's the ballet shoes?
Oh man. This video is so strange. In a really good way. Such a tight band. Everyone just killing it. Thanks for taking me back to grade 10. From Vancouver.
Wow, that is so wonderful. Love you all. Hopefully we can share a laugh over a pint at the Ivy soon Gord. Cheers and all the best. Michael in Milton.
Wowee! Excellent version!
Exceptionally well done!
Still a fan, I met you when you guys played at Ballinger’s in Cambridge. You were really nice people. Thanks for the cup of rum. Cheers
Brilliantly done. 💛💛💛💛💛
Even better today
I met you guys back in the 80's in Ottawa at A n A records on sparks street. You were doing a record sighing . If i remember correctly you played a concert on Canada day in Ottawa, which was fantastic.
Sound and look great!!!! Hope to see ya’ll perform live soon
Nice!
Hey, did The Spoons ever record any work at a studio called "Nova Heart studios" in Burlington, ON?
I'm Sandy's size and trying to learn and hold that beast called bass guitar. It's very frustrating.
You’ll get there! Keep at it - Sandy Horne. 👍🏻
I like how they used white mic stands and mics just like in the '80s video. Too bad they couldn't get white drum brushes.
