I had no idea how to lube switches prior to this video, and what you showed was exceptionally clear, with a good pace for a newbie to follow. Thank you.
i do the same, but i bag lube with 105g0 both types of stem and spring and I find it good for me and i like the sound and feel better than thicker lube.
If you accidentally bend the leaf, even slightly, it can drastically change the actuation point. My first switch I reassembled incorrectly and that bent the leaf, resulting in moving the actuation point to near bottoming out.
Hello, if you can't find keyboard lube I would recommend a thin all purpose lube such as WD-40. I think vaseline would be too thick so look for something more oily/liquidy.
@@CippMarianWooting literally has tutorials on their RUclips channel on how to open their lekker switches and lube them… They don’t state that you cannot take apart the switches.
I do have a personal recommendation:
You can use the keyboard holder that came with the box to turn it into a lube station.

Used this method today, saved me SO much time! Only took about 2 hours.
I should've watch this before spending 3 days lubing my first set of switches. Thanks for that video I might do it again after watching this lol
lubed my reds earlier today using the method from this video and they sound great! thanks man!
production quality and content is amazing! good luck
Thanks so much!
yeah thanks for warning not to bag lube the stems if my switches are tactile because they might loose their tactility :) that's a big no no.
In my area I don’t have lube , and I’m a beginner at lubing , does it work with Vaseline ?

Nope unfortunately, and Wooting doesn't recommend taking apart their switches.
