I'm so tired of going back to my sins then going back to God for forgiveness, it's been an every day thing lately. It's strange that whenever I started reading my Bible again and praying to God to help get rid of my worldly ways, lust gets 10x harder to fight. Why is that? Im in this constant tug of war of wanting to live a righteous Godly life and falling back into my lustful ways. I know I really want to live for God but all my flesh wants is pleasure. The fight just leaves me so tired. Can someone please pray for me.

43 “When an impure spirit comes out of a person, it goes through arid places seeking rest and does not find it. 44 Then it says, ‘I will return to the house I left.’ When it arrives, it finds the house unoccupied, swept clean and put in order. 45 Then it goes and takes with it seven other spirits more wicked than itself, and they go in and live there. And the final condition of that person is worse than the first. That is how it will be with this wicked generation.”

This morning I texted someone about this very feeling. I feel empty and vacant. I was musing youtube and feeling convicted that I should be doing something else, and this came up by God's grace and mercy. I'm so thankful for this ministry.
I realize that sexual sin tends to have the most powerful guilt effect. And because of how addicted we are and frequent we do it, we end up almost desensitized to it, and feel so useless every time we ask God for forgiveness , knowing that we will still go back to it. It makes you not want to feel that way anymore and just give up. Continuing in that sin and that guilt disappears bcus “why feel guilty about something that is your nature?” But I know that that is a lie. If the devil’s main goal is to separate you from God; wouldn’t it be best to have you think that you can’t be saved? That God is tired of you? That there’s no point in trying because you will still fail again. So we do the devil’s work for him, and because we don’t want to hurt God anymore we distance ourselves from him, which is ironically even worse. Funny thing about sexual sin is that bcus of its weight we are so focused on it that we forget that we engage in many other sins each day. So even when you conquer sexual sins, you may still be a sinner. Which is why we shouldn’t give up asking for forgiveness everyday, even when you feel you are in “perfect” standing with God, make it a habit to ask for forgiveness. Job who God considered perfect always sacrificed animals in a plea for mercy just incase he or his children may have displeased God. Sexual sin is not the end of the world or more serious than other sins, you are still a sinner, even without it. But God chooses to justify and sanctify you, because you continue in him. There’s a passage that say we are to thank God in all circumstances. Meaning even when we’ve have sinned we are still to come back to God. We hear everyday that his mercies don’t ever run out, but we don’t act like we believe it. And it’s difficult to do so. But I think understanding that God loved you even when you didn’t know him or you despised him help. He wanted you when you were a sinner that didn’t believe in him, why wouldn’t he want you when you are a sinner that believes in him? As I am speaking now I am still just coming out of this very pitfall. It keeps happening even though I am aware of it. I am trying to learn to always return back to God, even when I sin. Infact, immediately I masturbate or watch porn I try to pick up my Bible, read and pray immediately after. The hope that I have is that it’s not me or you who can save ourselves, it’s God that does the saving. But if in your great guilt you run away from him, how can he save you? It means that you were to proud to report back to God how useless and powerless you are in the face of your struggle. We are to cast our burdens on him. He actually wants to to tell him your troubles and struggles everyday. He is supposed to be your confidant and friend, not just your God and judge. Know that you don’t do anything on your own, even your acceptance of him is by his grace, he has said that you are not condemned. That empty feeling that you feel tell God about it, explain how you feel and humble yourself, ask for help. You failed today? Tell God, ask for help again, you failed again? Ask God for help. You can’t exhaust his mercy. Understand that running away won’t deliver you from the sin, it will only make you accept the sin as part of your existence, almost like a new limb, something that you can’t do without. But God can cut of that limb, of course you feel pain, guilt, emptiness, the limb has been growing as a part of you for years, the surgery will be painful. But the hope remains, that God loves us, and he wants us to be saved even more than we want to be saved ourselves. The part we have to play is to get more and more familiar with the Bible, and trying to unlearn habits that drive us back to sin. That is where the real challenge lies and I pray God will guide us all. Amen. Stay strong, brothers and sisters.
Thank you, you are God sent. You have no idea how much I needed to hear this. I'm struggling with sexual sin... I have no one to talk to... Thank God for you 🙏🙏🙏
you should be thankful if the only problem you have in life is sexual sin. you live in a white picket fence house surrounded by a cheerful neighborhood with happy people. you have never seen what pain really looks like. you need to go travel the world more and go to places where the bleakness and brokeness of life is so real you actually see what the face of sin looks like. it'll make you think twice about what your problems really are.

Thank you pastor John. I'm struck by how much more gentle and kind you've become as you've got older. You sound very different to videos we have of the young John Piper preaching. I'm sure you were preaching truth when you were younger, but these days there's more of the love of God evident in your voice and manner, which is lovely to see.

This is the most powerful clip i have seen from Pastor John. I have been in a tough spot lately but its good because i know God is working in me. Unfortunately, i have been running to Him and the Word out of Fear and Pain. Thank you God for showing me you are so much bigger than anything that I felt could keep Christ from wanting anything to do with me.
How do I know I can repent? My heart has been hardened. I keep thinking I'm too far gone? It's hard for me to sit and just focus on Gods words. Im battling with unbelief and the only thing I see is my impending doom
As long as you’re alive there’s still a chance! Jesus died for his friends (US!) while we were yet sinners. Even if you don’t ~feel~ repentant, make the effort every day to come to Him. I was in the SAME boat as you back in July, and I finally told myself, “I don’t care how dark my soul is right now, the only way I can fix that is by falling at the feet of Jesus.” You’re not going to get better by staying away from Him, that’s just a waste of time. May the Holy Spirit move in your life!
Will you go to Heaven when you die? Here’s a quick test: Have you ever lied, stolen, or used God’s name in vain? Jesus said, “Whoever looks at a woman to lust for her has already committed adultery with her in his heart.” If you have done these things, God sees you as a lying, thieving, blasphemous, adulterer at heart, and the Bible warns that one day God will punish you in a terrible place called Hell. But God is not willing that any should perish. Sinners broke God’s Law and Jesus paid their fine. This means that God can legally dismiss their case: “For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life.” Then Jesus rose from the dead, defeating death. Today, repent and trust Jesus, and God will give you eternal life as a free gift. Then read the Bible daily and obey it. God will never fail you.
Thank you Pastor John. I could completely identify with Kayla’s question and by the end of this episode I was moved to tears. Thank you for pointing us to scripture to be reminded of these truths. I really needed this episode.
Definitely needed to hear that thank you Pastor John, I feel like I’m in the same position I’ve been in a season of fornicating I know I shouldn’t be doing it and I know it’s wrong and sometimes I wonder is God willing to steal show me grace even after coming to him time and time again repenting about the same issue, making excuses and sometimes I wonder Why hasn’t God destroyed me I deserve every bit of it I have taken advantage of his grace time and time again I’m hoping and praying in these last days that I would repent and turn away from these things but I think God for videos like these in the scripture in first Timothy one chapter 15- through 16
Thank you for answering this difficult question, my son will benefit greatly from Pastor John’s unpacking of the scripture. Shared with your loving kindness, thank you.
Sin against the Holy Spirit is unforgiven, forgiveness of sins through Jesus Christ's death on the cross is symbolic of abundant mercy in God's kingdom for his children.
@@KC-fb8ql idk bro but for me it's speaking against. But the one thing that they tell is if you commited it you will lose the Holy Spirit.so there's no repentance
@@KC-fb8ql Listen to what pastor John said. For me, that is the unforgivable sin. He explained it in the video. But ofc, it's not just speak against. Could you explain your situation more, if you are comfortable doing so? It seems like you realize the seriousness of your sin. So, act on that knowledge by confessing it before God, who is abundantly patient and merciful (as this video explains), and replacing sinful habits with constructive and beneficial ones. Live in conformity to God's word despite what your heart says, knowing that God's words are true. May God illuminate your life with hope and give you greater knowledge of him.
From experience I tell you to return to God, I have sinned and I have gone my way, trying to control everything, now I am alone and I only wish that God in his holy mercy receives me again even if I do not deserve it, I repent even if there is done wrong consciously and unconsciously, there is no point of return to sin, nothing has been good in that place, i failed in my own ways, I only hope that God has mercy on me and receives me again. I feel very bad, I have wanted to die, I am looking for God with the strength that I have left, I am depressed and anxious, I just want peace and tranquility and to know that God has had mercy, I hope you read this before it is too late. May God keep you in the name of Jesus the Christ, do not return to that dark place because you will end up like me moaning in pain.

The Center of Salvation Paul’s letter to the church in Ephesus lays a foundation for the power of salvation that is achieved through Jesus’ death and resurrection. The core of the Christian faith is found in this event. The forgiveness of sins that we experience as Christians came through the blood of Christ that was shed on the cross. Jesus lived a perfect life, and became a perfect sacrifice for the brokenness of all mankind. Without the shedding of blood, there would be no forgiveness of sins (Hebrews 9:22). And without the forgiveness of sins, we would not be able to approach our holy and perfect God. Jesus’ life, death, and resurrection made a way for us to have a relationship with Him. Jesus gave His life once and for all, which means that He doesn’t have to die again. All of your sins-past, present, and future-are forgiven through Jesus. In fact, nothing can separate you from the love God has for you. Paul says that all of this is in line with God’s grace and His promises. All throughout Scripture God promises to redeem His people. He promises to rescue them and free them from their bondage to sin and brokenness. God accomplishes this through Jesus. Think about God’s great love and grace for you. Do you feel forgiven and set free? Or are you weighed down by your mistakes? Spend some time talking to God, thanking Him for what He has done for you. Remind yourself of God’s promises. Ask Him to fill you with the knowledge of His love and grace.
This is a trustworthy saying: If we died with Him, we will also live with Him; if we endure, we will also reign with Him; if we deny Him, He will also deny us; if we are faithless, He remains faithful, for He cannot deny Himself. 2Tim2:11-13 Meaning if you are his sheep that went missing from His flock, He will remain in you, and work in you even if you are living in sins (carnal in nature). - I came not to call the righteous, but sinners to repentance. Lk5:32 But if we deny Him, He will also deny us - Most believers (including self proclaimed) knows enough not to worship idols of stone or gold today. Preachers even preach you can't blasphemy the holy spirit today because Jesus has ascended to heaven. But how many know by binding a false believe (lie) to the word of God already deny Him? For example; if one believe and teaches that Christmas ( derived from a Babylonian doctrine) is Christ day of birth, has already deny Him. - The Pharisee replaced the holy spirit with the spirit of Baal, just as replacing the day of incarnation of the Sun god with the day the word manifest unto flesh. Hope you people understand.
Well God knows in our hearts that it's not intentional that we do this, that we are genuinely trying to celebrate Him. Most people don't know anything about that. So for most people, regardless of Christmas origin, are correct to worship in principle
@@ChileVerdeDavid - when the Israelite made a golden calf to worship the LORD.- read Ex32:33 - And the LORD said unto Moses, Whosoever hath sinned against me, him will I blot out of my book. You mean Christian still don't know Christmas is a Pagan Holiday? - That mean their blood is in your hands for not telling them.
Calling Christmas a pagan holiday is correct, I think. Assuming that are referring to its predecessor "Yule," and not the more straightforward holiday season of today. But if not, then I can't follow the logic that Christmas is pagan because it was created to replace pagan traditions. Claiming that December 25th is the exact date of Christ's birth? Incorrect or dishonest, depending on who's talking. Christianizing pagan idols in order to blend in with the world? Unhealthy or blasphemous, depending on the details. Christmas is an interesting case, though. If we assume for a moment that Christians celebrated Christ's birth on June 16th of each year, without being a historical replacement for any other festival, and not claiming it is His exact date of birth, would this be permissible? I don't believe anything can be found in the Bible to this. Instead, it seems like a glad commemoration of what God has done for us. Unfortunately, Christmas is not celebrated on June 16th. It also does have historical ties to pagan festivals. So what are we to make of this? If we moved Christmas to June 16th and celebrated it then - would it still be evil since it is serving as a replacement for an evil holiday (December 25th Christmas) that once replaced another evil holiday (Yule)? This is only food for thought. I believe we should take things on their own terms. If we look at what Christmas *is* rather than what it used to be connected to or what people claim about it, then I see no guarantee of harm in it. It is an annual celebration of Jesus's incarnate birth, not a dogmatic claim that this is Jesus's birthdate and a cardinal doctrine. It celebrates with the giving of gifts to imitate the generosity of the wise men (or for generosity's own sake), not necessarily a consumerist trap. It has music that sings praise to our Triune God, His mercy, His love, His cross, His gospel, His plan of redemption, His character, and not just silly secular tunes, and certainly no mention, allusion, or idea of Baal or any other false gods of false scriptures. And that's where I think the issue meets its end. Christmas (to Christians) today is about God - the God of the Bible. Nothing else. No historical date is inherently tainted, nor is any date of celebration made evil because of its past. On its own merits, Christmas is a fine celebration. The entire sacrificial system is not bankrupt simply because offerings were once made in the high places and the substance of a thing is different from the substance of its past. In its modern form, then, Christmas is not inherently poison. It can merely be misused like anything else. Certainly there's no harm in abstaining, assuming that one is already in a disposition of cheerful thankfulness to the Lord without needing lights and presents to help set the mood. It is merely a manmade celebration of God-given gifts. Whether you choose to abstain or partake, I hope you do so with reasoning coupled with conviction. My only hope is to guide you away from proclaiming judgement on those who have not incurred it. Have a fine day.
Jesus also said that the one who endures to the end the same shall be saved . Could it be we have to endure all this times of tests temptations trials attacks and never give up on Christ even though we fall into that most of sin can someone help with that 😢

@BullMarketBandit I can relate, but after you've accepted Jesus as your Lord and Savior you don't have to ask for forgiveness anymore, confess it to God, don't ask for forgiveness because you have already been forgiven on the cross for your past, present and future sins. If you can lose your salvation then you can earn your salvation. And we all know we can not earn our salvation. That's heresy. We are saved by faith alone. Not by works. The pharisees blasphemed the Holy Spirit by rejecting the Messiah that was presented to them. If salvation is by faith in Christ alone, then it's when we do not have faith in Christ that we are then unforgivable. Hence the unforgivable sin of blasphemy against the Holy Spirit. Hebrews was written to the Hebrews who were teetering on the fence of Christianity and going back to their Jewish works and traditions. If they rejected Christ, they'd find themselves like Esau when they died... because there would be no place for repentance after death. I usually really love what John Piper does but this video worries me greatly.

Watch the video from 3:28 to the end. I hope it will answer your doubts. Mark DeJesus also has some videos on the unforgivable sin, and about God's love and mercy, that may help you. BUT, you gotta believe what the Bible says. If you refuse to believe the Word because of "What ifs" or "What about this other thing," you are kinda sabotaging yourself. When those doubts and fearful thoughts come, fight them with the truth: that God does love you, that he is patient with you, and that he WANTS you to come to him. If you want to repent, God is waiting with open arms. Follow Him. God bless you.

@@greganderson2239 things have changed brother, i realized that before jesus died foor my sins he was ready to accept me even trough all of my failures
Hey guys. I’m going to be honest with you, I am afraid that I committed the Unforgivable sin, Because of the thoughts and intentions of my heart towards Christ and his miracles on one morning. I feel as if I am one of his enemies and I have a heart that is of a mule. I need to get right with God. When I think of Jesus, I am ashamed of what I did to Him. But it seems like I don’t have it in me to repent. Please pray that the Spirit will break me of this stubbornness. Though I feel as the man in the cage (despair) at the House of the Interpreter in Pilgrim’s Progress (Bunyan), I need the grace to lay down my arms of rebellion even so the grace to desire Him. And I have one question. When is it inappropriate to ask the Lord for mercy, when it comes down to the sins of the will like suppressing the truth (Romans 1) and heart sins?
Psalm 38; Psalm 40; Psalm 25 all of David; all telling of his "great" (25:11) and "countless" (40:12) and "foolish" (38:5) sins. Encouraging for us who have great and countless sins, seeing our folly. The Lord's name is gracious and compassionate (Ex 34:6).
I literally can’t break free from porn and honestly I know it’s because I truly don’t want to be. I get satisfaction from it. I do want to stop because I know I ought to, but clearly I want give in to porn more. Please pray for me
This use of this verse in Hebrews 12:17 that he uses is not used right. Go read the passage in Genesis and it will show you what the thing was that he was seeking. It was the birth right and he did not see the CHANGE OF MIND of his father Isaac that he wanted to get a blessing at all. This use of this verse is not exegetical.
@@lalumierehuguenote Esau was not seeking to repent of sin. He was seeking the blessing that he was not going to get from his father Isaac. When it says repentance, it means no change of mind from his father who he was begging and crying for the blessing that he was cheated out of and essentially also because he gave his birthright to Jacob for soup. You are always able to repent if you go to God and ask for it and help to accomplish it.
Paster Piper, what God asks of you? For Christians to act and vote justly, to love mercy, and walk humbly with God. There are many gray areas in this voting cycle. But, God values life, so I vote for pro-life! Hope your knowledge of God will lead you to vote for life too.
I compulsively made theories and systems which prove that god is the evil and since then i have no satisfaction about my life. I seel repentence and but my mind doesnt let me accept jesus as its always stuck in paranoid intellectual thinking which deny christ always.
These are seeds that satan plants but you can overcome these by prayer and believing God's truth. I have been there too and it's a constant daily battle but here is a supporting scripture. 2 Corinthians 10:5-6 Casting down imaginations, and every high thing that exalteth itself against the knowledge of God, and bringing into captivity every thought to the obedience of Christ; And having in a readiness to revenge all disobedience, when your obedience is fulfilled. You can do it through faith in Christ Jeaus. Philippians 4:13 I can do all things through Christ which strengtheneth me.
Wait wait wait...."It's possible to backslide so long and so deeply that there's no return"...Doesn't the scripture say once we are saved we cannot be snatched from His hand? You're saying believers that backslide for a "season" which that in itself is subjective term of time, are doomed? Didn't the Word say, "You cannot be snatched from my hand"? Jesus said the only unpardonable sin was blaspheming the Holy Spirit, so I respectfully disagree with your assertion. I believe all sins, minus the aforementioned, can be forgiven, even we lowly backsliders.
Thank you for answering this difficult question, my son will benefit greatly from Pastor John’s unpacking of the scripture. Shared with your loving kindness, thank you.

As sin increased in this life God's grace increased even more ❤
I realize that sexual sin tends to have the most powerful guilt effect.
And because of how addicted we are and frequent we do it, we end up almost desensitized to it, and feel so useless every time we ask God for forgiveness , knowing that we will still go back to it. It makes you not want to feel that way anymore and just give up. Continuing in that sin and that guilt disappears bcus “why feel guilty about something that is your nature?”
But I know that that is a lie.

How are you now brother?
Don't. Give. Up. Pray. Talk.

The Center of Salvation
Paul’s letter to the church in Ephesus lays a foundation for the power of salvation that is achieved through Jesus’ death and resurrection.
This is a trustworthy saying:
If we died with Him, we will also live with Him;
if we endure, we will also reign with Him;
if we deny Him, He will also deny us;
if we are faithless, He remains faithful, for He cannot deny Himself. 2Tim2:11-13
Meaning if you are his sheep that went missing from His flock, He will remain in you, and work in you even if you are living in sins (carnal in nature). - I came not to call the righteous, but sinners to repentance. Lk5:32
But if we deny Him, He will also deny us - Most believers (including self proclaimed) knows enough not to worship idols of stone or gold today.
The Pharisee replaced the holy spirit with the spirit of Baal, just as replacing the day of incarnation of the Sun god with the day the word manifest unto flesh.
Hope you people understand.
@Go Johnny Go Thanks. God Bless you!
Well God knows in our hearts that it's not intentional that we do this, that we are genuinely trying to celebrate Him. Most people don't know anything about that. So for most people, regardless of Christmas origin, are correct to worship in principle
@@alexandercellante7553 - blessings.
Could it be we have to endure all this times of tests temptations trials attacks and never give up on Christ even though we fall into that most of sin can someone help with that 😢
I'm wondering this as well, bc no matter what I cannot stay like this. I cannot. I don't want to fall to the temptation of Sexual sin anymore
If God allows me I would encourage you to focus on Jesus and his promises not on your sin(s). I believe every temptation starts with a lie, once you find it rebuke it with scripture!
@@devalberto Thank you for this. I'm getting hung up on focusing on the sin because I know it's wrong and goes against God
@BullMarketBandit I can relate, but after you've accepted Jesus as your Lord and Savior you don't have to ask for forgiveness anymore, confess it to God, don't ask for forgiveness because you have already been forgiven on the cross for your past, present and future sins. Worry is good it shows that you love God and you care about what He thinks about you, you are not an unbeliever (wicked). 1 John 1:8-9.
He doesn't Love you because of who you are but because of what our Lord Jesus Christ of Nazareth has done for us. He doesn't see your sins anymore but only the blood of Jesus. Everything we get is by grace through faith in Him. We flee temptation, we pray, etc... grateful for what He has done for us
@@devalberto Thank you brother, would you recommend fasting as a means to deal with the impulses of giving into temptation??
I think I have went to far where I can't find repentance for my sins. My heart is so hard that I feel nothing no conviction or anything. Im scared I have been turned over to a reprobate mind. I don't know what to do anymore. Please pray for me.

This video is like a rope thrown at somebody drowning. I cannot thank you enough!
We can see by the comments that a lot of people feel that way.
And for those that are older it has been like that for a long time.
Esau sold his birthright and could not find repentance.
But Jacob tricked him out of it just like Satan.

I’m in distress….I don’t know if I’m a Christian or not…or I’ve just been religious.
I’ve said the sinners prayer so many times but I’m not like a Christian should be.
I feel angry at god and myself and others…
Please pray for me. I feel lost alone and scared. I’m just like Paul.
Please. I need help Iv been ignoring the Holy spirit and think I committing the unforgivable sin... These videos spoke to me but Ive been rebellious knowingly.
«So also faith by itself, if it does not have works, is dead.»
James 2:17 ESV
@@kathleenjoelleorius798 Yep. Because if you believe in Jesus, you'll believe in his words. For instance, because you believe in Jesus you'll actively work on forgiving others. Or you'll actively work on being kind and loving. But there are still days you aren't so kind and loving as you should be. Does that mean you never had works that proved your faith? Does that mean you'll never have works that prove your faith again?
We are not saved by works. But the fruits we bear in repentance, those works, prove we are already saved. So we can not earn our salvation. It was already given. If we believe.
We are not saved by works of any kind ,once christ see you believe the gospel 1Corithians 15,1-4 that christ died just like the scriptures saids and was buried just like the scriptures saids.and that he rose the third day just like the scriptures saids you are saved just loke the scriptures saids .if you believe that gospel which is apostle pauls gospel spoken from God to Apostle paul to the gentiles anyone preach any other gospel than that which aposple paul preach for salvation has fallen from grace. So people need.to be careful and rightly divide the word of truth .the whole bible is the word of God But everything is not for us in the age of grace .once God sees with all ones heart ,God does everything we do nothing but take it by faith. He seals us with the holy spirit ,he justifies us ,our sins have been atone for all sins he santifies us he glorifies us ,he places us in the body of christ ,we are hid in him in heaven ,And on and on .Thats why we can do nothing but take it by faith that his atoning blood did it all. WWW.LES FELDRICK .ORG AWSOME BIBLE TEACHER HES RIGHTLY DIVIDES
Perhaps so but salvation is not a license to sin.
@@mitchellsedmak no it is definitely not a license to sin but if your a true believer your not going to want to sin ,we live in a fallen world, due to fall of adam this is satan world God did not say clean uo before you believe but once you believe of course your gonna want to be righteous because he has clothed us with his rightiousness ,but i do understand people have things going on in their lives that their.wanting to overcome and God looks at the heart he knows whether or not a person is sincere or not because you cant hide anything from the lord . Iam not. One to try to afend anyone i think it is good that people can come eith concerns because i have people around me that i can't talk to. so thanks
I think i did it my thoughts after battling against blasphemy of the holy sprit in my toughs now they are blaspheming Jesus and it’s killing me inside feel like losing everything
rebuke the devil with your mouth and confess that Jesus is our lord and savior
I think you need deliverance from blasphemous thoughts, I've had them too for 2 years and undergoing the deliverance process to shut the doors to the enemy.
If I have backslided so far that I sought it with tears such as Easua should I not just kill myself. I feel hopeless because I have failed too many times if I have committed unforgivable sins then what good do I have
Watch the video from 3:28 to the end.

SO WHAT DO I DO IF IM PRETTY SURE IVE BEEN GIVEN OVER? IF I CANT DO IT WITHOUT HIM, BUT HES CANT HEAR ME ANYMORE THEN IM DONE FOR RIGHT?
John 6:37 All that the Father giveth me shall come to me; and him that cometh to me I will in no wise cast out.

Why
@@boogotti1173 because of my sin
I did. Or do I not really care.
I donr get your point. Could you explain it more?
@@lalumierehuguenote Esau was not seeking to repent of sin. He was seeking the blessing that he was not going to get from his father Isaac. When it says repentance, it means no change of mind from his father who he was begging and crying for the blessing that he was cheated out of and essentially also because he gave his birthright to Jacob for soup. You are always able to repent if you go to God and ask for it and help to accomplish it.
@@adamnichols2421 thanks. I don't think I agree with your understanding of the text here. Are you anti calivinist?
2 Corinthians 10:5-6 Casting down imaginations, and every high thing that exalteth itself against the knowledge of God, and bringing into captivity every thought to the obedience of Christ;
And having in a readiness to revenge all disobedience, when your obedience is fulfilled.
The world has put a watered down version of GOD for us to worship so we can complain about suffering and forget about JESUS. I don't like it.......
Thank you for answering this difficult question, my son will benefit greatly from Pastor John’s unpacking of the scripture. Shared with your loving kindness, thank you.
