Didn't even realize this was a wimpy kid reference until I saw the comment on Rowley's revenge. This fits so well! Also the Michael Angelis impression is really on point.

Can we get the “Rowley’s revenge” version of this scene where Peter Sam shoots Sir Handel?

Then, Sir Topham Hat walked up to Sir Handle. He was very cross.
"I am very cross with you", Sir Hat said, "you have caused confusion and delay, and your actions have caused harm to another engine."
Sir Topham Hat then pointed at Sir Handle.
"I'm banishing you to the shadow realm!"
"NO!", yelled Sir Handle as he faded from existence.
"Much better!", Sir Topham Hat said.

Sir Handle and Greg Heffley being a perfect parallel is a testament to the writing of both series.

This feels more like Trampy's writing of how Sir Handel acts up and Peter Sam scolds him for his actions, but overall genuine.

Great video! I sometimes wonder if Sir Handel was always meant to be the unlikeable character, the one who never really had a redemptive arc, because while Duncan thrice had his shining moments, Sir Handel always seemed to reoffend, i.e. leaving his guard behind, damaging his firebars, and his whistle, and he never really made up for any of it. It would have been nice to see the Reverend or Christopher develop him more as a character. I know he's got some good in him.

Why do people think Sir Handel is anything like Greg Heffley? Sir Handel was apologetic when Peter Sam got into his accident, and he never once tried to pin on him. Sir Handel is just occasionally rude and cocky, Greg Heffley is a sociopath. They are not the same.
By the way I have no issue with the video itself it’s just the whole Greg and Sir Handel thing that the fandoms been doing in general that irks me.

Peter Sam was now busier than ever. He had to do Sir Handel’s work as well as his own. He was very excited, and the fireman found him hard to handle.
“Anyone would think that he wanted to work,” said Sir Handel, who was lonely and bored.
“All respectable engines do,” replied Skarloey. “Keep calm, Peter Sam, and you’ll do well.”
