I have a chopper exactly the same as Sara’s one but it’s not Tupperware it’s was $25 AUD and I use it for everything that needs finally chopping or puréed it’s a breeze to clean up and store it’s fantastic highly recommend it

I am “Chef Ol’ School” , I dice my tomatoes, onion & garlic. I just cut up the cilantro that I add in; that way we get some nice little pieces for crunch and flavor. I will have to try a lemon or lime next time to see what flavor combination I get. I usually use 1/4 to 1/2 cup Apple cider vinegar “ with the mother “ and 1/2 to 1 cup of water plus 2 tablespoons of salt to my batch depending on the size I am making and mix it up with a spoon. Then, I spoon it into an appropriate size container to store in the fridge. You are right about making it the night before or a few hours before you need it so the individual flavors can marry. BRAVISSIMO!!!, Sarah. ( I also use my salsa on baked potatoes and my eggs rancheros. If I have no salad dressings I add a little to my salad. ) 👍👍🌟

Sara, you should try roasting all the veggies! When the chilies get dark and blistered, put them in a ziploc bag for about 30 minutes. When time is up, scrape the skin off, and finish it the way you usually would. P.S.- You don't need to add chili powder, take it from a Mexican😉

That looks sooo good! I always add a pinch of sugar to mine...rounds the flavor out and balances the acid.....
