me being Poison Ivy in the Bat Show at Warner Bros. Movie World on the Gold Coast, back in 2000. Such a fun job.....shame about the poor quality video.
i got my photo with robin and batman when they were there. it was so awesome, but i lodt the photo...robin asked me why my finger was in a bandage. i thought i was the coolest 5 year old in the world:P
Haha, thats great! I remember when I was a kid I always wished I was the kid in the batmobile! They always picked a kid and it never seemed to be me lol. Can't win em all. :)
I would seriously love to recreate something just like this and maybe it would make a great scene for something like Batman the musical and if I did portray the Batman in a show like this one I hope one day it will be twice as epic with more dialogue and perfect scenes and this show definitely deserves to be re-enacted and made into something that's worth adding to live theatre show that is so inspirational because this is just the sort of inspiration I need for my kind of a Mean As Batman performance I hope to do in future and I bet the Batfans will enjoy seeing me in an epic re-enactment of this Batman show someday
i used to watch this every time we went to movie world. i absolutely loved it. we've got videos of this too but mine is a little unclear too. i wonder if it was you. we went every year starting 2000. i have videos of me watching this on the tv and dancing along. my sister got chosen as the kid to ride in batmans car but pulled out at the last second cos she was waaay too scared. aha. in tears and all. so they just randomly picked the closest kid and chucked him in. ahah. good times
dipsondiddle I really would've loved to see a performance like this and maybe this could one day be ideal to recreate in a live theatre show and it would be totally epic if I played Batman in the scenes like this as well because I've dreamed of portraying the Dark Knight on stage and screen
How funny if it is! This was either 2000 or 2001 maybe. We did this every day and chose a diff kid every day, so I guess that's around 360 kids a year!
I think that was me, the kid who got 'saved' by batman. I was chosen to do that the same year this was shot, I cant seem to find the photos anymore and I cant remember what I was wearing, if only the picture was a bit clearer I could tell.
This show seems way too short. They really spent a lot of money on the costumes & the vehicles though. Those are really amazing. Too bad it was only 8 minutes...

Was it hard to get the job because I'm only 14 and I just wish I could be up there working as a dancer, not necessarily the lead but just... there💚
