One thing I really like is when Batman first sees Robin in his new suit is that he’s not just seeing a young punk out looking for revenge and be done with it, he’s seeing someone who’s taking the mission to protect Gotham seriously
You know how most superhero movies have that epic seen where you just feel giddy? I was watching this with my grandmother the other day because that's become our thing to watch old movies and cartoons together. And she didn't remember seeing this one so I decided to show her the entire what I refer to as the Tim Burton storyline of Batman. And for whatever reason when it got to this scene, seeing the disappointment of Commissioner Gordon, and then you hear the whine of jet engines of the Bat Plane and then you see it fly through The Riddler's Question Mark, and Batman looks at Gordon 👍🏾 ....something about that gave me chill bumps that night! So dope! Anybody else have a scene like that in this movie?
This Gordon makes the Mayor of Townsville look like Jim Gordon from The Dark Knight. At least the Mayor actually tried to fight crime at one point. (Albeit using a hot air balloon and extended punching glove) 😂😂
Underrated Batman movie. Val Kilmer is also such an underrated Batman and Bruce Wayne, Chris O’Donnell also plays a really good Robin even in the horrendous Batman & Robin movie. He actually outshines Clooney. Kilmers voice in this scene along with the sonar suit is just an amazing Batman look. I always thought he had a really good voice for Batman.
I honestly didn't mind Kilmer in the role, he was no Keaton or Bale but he did a pretty good job. Got the voice down pat too. And that car....I'd do what Robin did, go try and pick up chicks in that bad boy.
I love how Batman MUST fly through an impossibly lethal corridor full of step angles and obstacles. 1:40 DO OR DIE. Just to exit the Batcave. This movie was the visual definition of OVER-THE-TOP. And I still love it to this day. Too bad Batman & Robin ruined everything.
Chris O'Donnell was badass as Robin. I loved his suit in this movie but what I don't understand is why he didn't wear it again in Batman and Robin. Sure I love his gadgets and his motorcycle but why the hell did he have his suit sport the Nightwing insignia?
Chris O'Donnell was about to do a spin off of Nightwing the movie after Batman and Robin but unfortunately it didn't flourish😢 yes I agree, Chris O' Donnell is amazing. Thank you for the kind words.
My favorite moment to n Batman Forever. Seeing when Robin finally and officially makes his big screen debut. Even though Michael Keaton hated the changes to the Batman movies and exited, the only one line uttered by Val Kilmer that I could actually hear Keaton say is "Who's your tailor?". Robin's debut scene is just as epic as the Shazam movie when Mary, Freddy, and those other kids shout Shazam and turned into the Marvel Family, or Marvel's Iron Man II when Rhodey becomes War Machine and helps Iron Man fight the robots. This was truly an epic moment. I only wish Robin could have stayed with this costume in the 1997 Batman and Robin movie.
The music is so good and well timed. Would have been good to see Kilmer and O'Donnell do one more film together and take on like a Mad Hatter & Scarecrow.
It's a good thing Batman stash his Sonar Batsuit to a different location in the Batcave or he will have no Batsuits left to wear against Riddler and Two-Face.

RIP Uncle Pat
And Michael!
Pat Hingle and Michael Gough held the Schumacher movies in one piece but I hate Jim Gordon in the Schumacher movies went from a good and intelligent cop in the Burton films to simpleton in the Schumacher films
Anyone else want a movie with Jason Todd and nighting?
Well, the DCEU acknowledges Jason Todd (he’s dead though) and the Nightwibg movie is coming.
No
Yes
Well the dceu has Jason Todd in Batman v Superman
the batsuit is awesome..
One of the only batsuits that doesn't have nippiles
The movie wasn't anything special but designs of batmobile, batwing and batboat were great.
Yea I love the batmobile exept the lights and rims
So the movie did it right, it made you want to buy the TOYS.
@@chris_t2020 Well I wasn't even a year old when the movie came out. I watched it for the first time on tv years later. Plus they did not sell many Batman forever toys where I am from.
I get what are you trying to say though. An it is really a shame that mercandise takes priority over a quality moviemaking.
My all time favorite designs
Don’t lie this is pretty cool
Alright admit it yall who saw this film opening day/weekend of 1995, when Robin came down the stairs and they set off to save the day, yall cheered like mad like them Marvel movies. You were all like YEEEEEAAAAAHHHHH!!!! BATMAN AND ROBIN! THE DYNAMIC DUO! WOOOOHOOOOO!!!
Shot at Batman's ass is totally not necessary
Says you :P
No it wasn't. not even for robin and batgirl either
@@m.c.ufan1019 neither for batgirl.
RAMIREZ SUPPORTS ANONYMOUS yeah I agree with that
Nothing more epic that Robin whipping the hell out the Batboat hearing that engine roaring at 1:37
I don't care what nobody says. Val was so underrated as Batman. I wish him and Chris o donald Did Batman Robin together
My first social skill was taught to me by Chris and Val! Thanks to everyone who worked in this film!
That handshake did give me goosebumps
this was better than Batman and robin, and Batman forever did really well in the box office back in 1995, Val Kilmer did a great he looked better than Michael keaton ,has Bruce Wayne, and jim Carrey did a great job as the riddler.
He wasn't better than Michael Keaton....you're high
@Arby Gamban and he probaly the most bruce wayne in the keaton-shuelmander saga
Keaton is not as attractive as bruce wayne
Clooney is way too charming
One thing I really like is when Batman first sees Robin in his new suit is that he’s not just seeing a young punk out looking for revenge and be done with it, he’s seeing someone who’s taking the mission to protect Gotham seriously
Ok...The Batwing breaking through the clouds and through the Bat Signal in the sky was an awesome scene..
When batman bursts out from the green symbol and that epic music hits as a child you couldn’t help but be like LETS GOOOO!!!!
Kilmer is a pretty badass Batman, one of the best
You know how most superhero movies have that epic seen where you just feel giddy? I was watching this with my grandmother the other day because that's become our thing to watch old movies and cartoons together. And she didn't remember seeing this one so I decided to show her the entire what I refer to as the Tim Burton storyline of Batman. And for whatever reason when it got to this scene, seeing the disappointment of Commissioner Gordon, and then you hear the whine of jet engines of the Bat Plane and then you see it fly through The Riddler's Question Mark, and Batman looks at Gordon 👍🏾
....something about that gave me chill bumps that night! So dope! Anybody else have a scene like that in this movie?
Batman Forever: We’re gonna need a bigger cave.
Batman and Robin: We’re gonna need an even bigger cave.
This Gordon makes the Mayor of Townsville look like Jim Gordon from The Dark Knight. At least the Mayor actually tried to fight crime at one point. (Albeit using a hot air balloon and extended punching glove)
😂😂
The background music is epic when Robin appears at 0:35.
2:16 Did you know that isn't his thumb?
Really?
Gold Yup. The suit was too stiff so they needed to use a fake arm.
Brigham Bentley Yeah it looks weird can't stop laughing I've replayed it 10 times 😂😂
LOL it does look odd
The batwing going through the bat signal is still one of my favorite Batman moments ever
I honestly didn't mind Kilmer in the role, he was no Keaton or Bale but he did a pretty good job. Got the voice down pat too.
And that car....I'd do what Robin did, go try and pick up chicks in that bad boy.
Not gonna lie, that handshake at 1:16 was low-key epic.
Im still wondering if that Bat Shot was really necesary.
Yes...yes it was
This movie has an Adam West Batman charm you’ll not see in other Batman movies
Thank you for this scene alone Mr Schumacher..R.I.P Joel Schumacher
0:14 dont ever let it happen again
I love how at 2:15 batman has to turn his whole upper body to look in a certain direction
Val Kilmer in my opinion is a top 3 Batman very underrated
This movie is pure gold.... why nobody can see it? It's like straight out of Jim Lee comics!!
Love this scene! Gordon gave up but when the Bat plane came through it restored his faith in Batman! Says a lot about their relationship!!!
Val Kilmer is one of the best Bruce and a good Batman. He deserved a better movie.
I still love this movie as when I was 5 years. Thank you Joel Schumacher.
The most underrated, Batman, movie of all time
0:15 buttman 🤣🤣
The only batman movie that actually made robin look somewhat cool.
1:03 cant promise I won’t kill harvey
A man's gotta go his own way. A friend told me that.
Getting the Batwing back into the cave must be interesting.
Pat hingle was a great commissioner Gordon. RIP🙏🙏🙏
I agree, he was fantastic
The music is so good and well timed. Would have been good to see Kilmer and O'Donnell do one more film together and take on like a Mad Hatter & Scarecrow.
0:10 Batman Suits up
Love this movie!
My favorite outside of Michael Keaton version with Jack Nicolson 💜💚❤️
Love when he looks back at Alfred and says " ROBIN " 🕊️🥺
After all these years this movie has my favourite Batwing. Gorgeous!
Keaton's Batwing was and will always be better
@@dancastro4732 your opinion not fact
lol batman's butt cheek zoom in caught me off guard 🤣
You loved it
@@MarkAHouston well, it looks pretty tight lol
It's a good thing Batman stash his Sonar Batsuit to a different location in the Batcave or he will have no Batsuits left to wear against Riddler and Two-Face.
Michael Keaton and Val Kilmer were good Batmen.
out of all the batman movies i have watched in my life, this one is by far the best one in my opinion; this is actually the only batman movie i ever watch now....the others...eh not so much
20 years after it was made I watch it all the time and is one of my favorite movies ever made so you have to know despite all the whiney complaints this Batman movie will last forever and hope one day to see a Batman Forever 2 a true sequel this movie deserved.
I absolutely loved his Bruce Wayne character. Not Batman but his Bruce Wayne was on point to me. Still love the movie regardless
