Hi Kevin, do you remember or did you ever hear of the Wurlitzer Vaults in Manhattan? I remember it in the 70's (and later)I would pass the building because there was a Grays Papaya right down the block ( and when your in NYC, you have to have hot dogs in Gray's Papaya or you weren't really there)!! As soon as you mentioned Organ, I immediately thought "Wurlitzer" because their organs are so rare . But the real reason? One day I was eating some Gray's hot dogs and papaya drink and I was just looking at the building and thinking "How many Strads are in that place right now".They use to have so many valuable Strads, Guarnieri's, Amati's etc etc. It was an actual Vault with 100's of the most valuable violins on Earth.
AND the man that recognized your work apprenticed with the Wurlitzers back in the day ( way back). That man was Jacques Francais. He could just glance at a violin and shake his head "no"( and at no charge) when a violin with a fake label was presented to him. Actually he didn't even look at the label most of the time.
A funny story about one of the Wurlitzers, a women came in with a violin with a Strad label but it said "Made in Czechoslovakia". He said, "miss, don't you know that Stradivari made his violins in Italy"?
She wanted it to be genuine so badly that she replied "isn't it possible that he made it while he was on a vacation there"?
Bottom line? I still can't get over the fact that you are the only living artist to be recognized by probably the greatest appraiser that ever lived. It is believed that half of the Strads and Del Gesu violins passed through his hands. You should do a video on your appraisal by Jacques Francais. Your the only one alive that can!!
And thanks for torturing me with that beautiful violin ( I can see why he recognized your talent)..I hope it never leaves your hands. The Tangled should be for everyone to see. ( Yes, I'm greedy)
    Stay well, stay safe!!
    Thank Kevin~!

Wow never thought it would feel so good to tune to this. It literally feels so good when the violin pairs with the organ. Is their a scientific reason it feels like that compared to the 440 pitch obe usually finds in RUclips?

A440 is so shrill and pointy around the edges. I tune to A432 and have never gone back.

I don't blame you at all, if you love a more mellow sound and don't have to perform with symphonies that require the 440. Thanks for your comment!
