how to distinguish paratesticular cysts from epidydimal cysts when large. how common is pathology in body and tail of epidydimis because I frequently evolving abscess like appearance in tail of tender testis
I just usually write epididymal cyst on my worksheet. You can’t tell the difference, perhaps if there’s internal echoes you may be able to suggest spermatocele. When there’s inflammation of the epididymis the entire gland usually enlarged. If there’s an abscess there is going to be a lot of inflammatory changes throughout including the soft tissues of the scrotum.
Hello. 4 years ago I had a torsion of the right testicle and the testicle was saved after a long time (about 15 hours) but the pain was not constant. The doctor said that during the operation 1cm of the testicle was darkened but the color returned. Now I am 19 years old, I did a scrotal echo and these are the dimensions. The left 48.7mm The right 38.4mm Should this concern me or ??
I'm only 16 years old. In May, I received a severe blow to the right testicle. Right now I feel swellings as small as a grain of rice on the left side of my right testicle, somewhere in the middle of my testicle. it is glued directly to the testicle. I am not exposed to any risk factors. can I get testicular cancer? is it because of the accident in may? Please help me with an answer❗❗❗❗❗❗
@@SonographicTendencies Hi,I recently had a urtheroplasty and post my surgery I developed dribbling and burning sensation around scrotum, Scared to my treating Dr coz he kept insisting on putting a foly Catheter again, which I guess why I developed a UTI ...so will a scrotal Doppler identify my issue?
I think I have variocele. I have bigger than average testicles. I get ache and in certain positions especially when traveling, pain. I use fairly snug briefs. This helps a lot and I have never consulted a doctor. I understand condition as a kind of pooling of blood that is not able to go against gravity so well. I believe my using good support to cradle my testicles and largely obviate anything really problematic means it is not a huge issue. Would you mind commenting?
Need more men in this field women have gender specific clinics is about time men where able to get such care If male clinics where available men would be more inclined to take more care of their health and get procedures done in a timely fashion
@@SonographicTendencies Then you as well as the other very well know why men won't have sensitive exams done. Many would rather live with it before allowing it to happen.

Hello, is there a way to get in contact with you, i have a question about varicocele, i did a testicle ultrasound , i got the CD so i can see everything that you are showing me in the video, but when i look at my inguinal canal on the right testicle side one of my veins are sticking out blue, they are measuring more then 2mm when i measure it in resting position, but when i strain they are about 2mm is that a varicocele? if possible i can screenshot it and send it to you.
This is my result in scrotal ultrasound Scanning of both testicles show the following findings: The testes are normal in size and vascularity with homogeneous parenchyma. Right testis measures 2.43 x 1.98 x 1.30 cm Left testis measures 3.44 x 2.05 x 1.21 cm The epididymes are not enlarged, with no distinct lesions. No abnormal fluid collection noted in the scrotal sac. No reflux of color was demonstrated during Valsalva's maneuver in the supratesticular regions. The skin overlying the scrotum is not thickened. IMPRESSION: UNREMARKABLE SONOGRAM OF TESTES AND EPIDIDYMES

What about varicose veins diameter? Is it matter? What is the cut off ?
3mm or bigger
You make this video. However, you very well know that a FEMALE tech will do the procedure.
Boris I do scrotal exams every day. There are more female ultrasound techs that is expected…
