Honestly I feel like the budget end of shoes is where it gets interesting. You get to see what a company feels is important in a shoe cause they can't just spam features like their flagships.
Gotta agree with the heel slip. Its not a lot but on court when running and jumping it does bother me. Although I did go half size up compared to my regular or casual shoes (J's, UB, Yeezy, etc) but I always do that on basketball sneakers and never had any issue (probably cause socks a lil thicker than usual). What I did was placed an anti heel sleep cushion / sticker on the back of the shoe. Upon fitment, there's noticeable less slip but would have to try it on court to see if that really made a difference. Other than that issue, this shoe is a bang for your buck. Padding is thick and your feet will be comfortable as hell. Cushion is soft too and provides good enough energy return. Traction - though it does not squeak a lot I never slipped or slide.
try the trc blaze court a half size up, zion 2 also half size up, under armour lockdown 6 is great, curry 2 low flotro are awesome also in my experience I'm a 4e width with a high arch.

Overall performance wise Dame Certified. But you can also go by your foot shape - Court Rider for wide feet and Dame Certified for medium-narrow feet. 😃

Usually as long as the outsole lasts well, I think it’s hard to call one better than another just for outdoor considerations since they will both work nicely. Dame Certified I’ve been using my first pair outside since I got them and they’re holding up very well.

Luka 1 has better traction, MB.02 has better cushioning and impact protection. I don’t think I’ll be making a separate video on that but that’s about it really. Overall I’d take the MB.02.
