Gate flap seems way too short & too hard for them to find. Would be interesting to have tail can video to see if that is actually an issue, the first 10 capture mobs filmed would give an educated indication. Less samples = less robust conclusion, and habitat/mob history/season etc variables all probably influence it.
Working out some way to have the gate flap internal mating point quiet is also possibly an improvement. Closing onto something like rubber or wood might reduce or eliminate the noise which probably spooks some.
And while getting the sow is good, 2 suckers were missed. Smaller lower mesh needed. Or higher trap to prevent jumping out if ambushing them on the outside which is ok for 2 if any good, but not for many more as some will be missed. Unless disturbed those suckers will probably stay nearby & possibly called up for posing with an apple in the mouth. Once disturbed by sub 100% efforts they are likely to gap it.
The sow configuration doesn't need Russian/wild boar breeding, domestic pigs usually revert to that after some generations in the wild.

We have worked continuously to improve functionality since making of this video. Check out “Corral Trap Game changer “. Adding trigger really helped. As did saving up for Pig Brig! Thanks!

Once in a while you're going to have one climb over and/or jump out
