The springs are the right ones, they are designed to stretch and hold tight
I've had the same exhaust on mine for 1.5 years now. I had to take it back off at first and use gasket maker on the connections because there were small leaks. I noticed a small loss in power at first but I got the ECU flashed for it and now it's back to normal. I wouldn't say I have any more power but the bike looks and sounds way better with the same great original performance for a fraction of the cost of other exhausts. I call that a win.
Where did you get your ECU flashed? And did they have a mapping for the amazon muffler?!
Bike looking awesome bro, i talked with a bike dealer and he told me that he had multiple customers who came to him with bikes that had burned out the top of the pistons because they had changed to aftermarket exhaust that did not have o2 sensor, i think he mentioned something about the bike running lean and thats why it happens an ecu tune might also solve the problem.

Yes the baffle is in and yes it's removable. Essentially it's the same as any expensive exhaust. The only difference really is the muffler. No issues at all with this exhaust. Also no check engine light without tune.

Just picked up a set for myself lol, i noticed Amazon exhausts for these bikes have two layouts, the one you got is essentially the same layout as Akrapovic (with the loop before the muffler) and the other layout is just straight to the muffler from the Y-pipe. Went with the one with the loop but different brand 😃
Nice. When you buy an expensive exhaust, all youre really paying for in my eyes is the muffler itself. The piping is about the same for any brand. Buy the Amazon exhaust then buy a akrapovic muffler and boom.. You have a full akrapovic exhaust haha

Use some grease on the gaskets and then show em up there😂. Much easier to fasten the headers then
writing this before listening to it. but looks like a nice bit of kit, look to be decent welds. im sure we over pay for the names

ECU remapping is compulsory bro since you’ve changed the whole system, otherwise your exhaust valves will fry
But for example akrapovic says you don't have to, but should one do it either way?
@@appleman3812 companies may say that but it’s better to be safe than sorry. Probably not each and every motorcycle with the same model will have pitch perfect exact ECU mapping.
If they provide a pre-programmed mapping for a particular model like powertronic which you can just download from their website, then it make sense.

Only issue was finding a way to hang the exhaust from the frame. Didnt come with instructions or correct hardware. I made it work, no current issues

What seat do you have?
It's the stock seat. I took it apart and added memory foam instead of the hard dense foam. Way more comfortable for longer rides.
Did it throw a check engine light?
No it did not throw a check engine lightand still hasn't till this day
@@coryisdead nice. I just ordered a chinaponic exhaust and scared to put it on my 22’ because of the ecu not being tuned and scared it’s gonna throw a light. It’s my daily.

The video makes the exhaust sound quieter than it is. It's alot louder in person, even with my helmet on its still loud.

@@travissearles23 I never got my bike tuned but it does feel a tiny bit faster and not as much engine breaking
@@coryisdead My Akrapovic added noticeable power increase and is 12 pounds lighter then stock which helped as well! They are great bikes!
